What's new

TacoTip GearScore Enhancer v0.1.2

Added — Character & Inspect summaries

  • Added enhancer-owned summaries to the local Character window and remote player Inspect windows.
  • Added a shared Basic mode that shows Current GS and Average iLvl, and a Detailed mode that adds conclusive Potential GS, Delta, Completion, and optional Unenhanced GS.
  • Added honest scanning, unavailable, and enhancement-analysis states so incomplete remote data is never presented as zero or reused for a different player.

Settings

  • Added an Equipment Windows settings page with the shared summary mode, an optional Detailed Unenhanced comparison, position locking, and a positions-only reset.
  • Added independently movable Character and Inspect positions. Summaries are locked by default, and only their visible drag handles accept the mouse while unlocked.
  • Fresh installations start in Basic mode. Existing v0.1.1 profiles start with the new equipment summary Disabled so their current TacoTip presentation remains unchanged until they opt in.

Compatibility and restoration

  • Added reversible, in-memory coexistence with TacoTip's native Character/Inspect GearScore and iLvl display. TacoTip's saved positions and display settings are not changed.
  • Added independent fail-closed equipment-window compatibility, so an unsupported frame contract leaves TacoTip untouched without disabling otherwise supported player tooltips.

Other improvements

  • Updated the addon version, footer, and welcome message to v0.1.2.
  • GearScore calculations, enhancement rules, Average iLvl calculations, and existing player-tooltip behavior are unchanged.
