What's new

BoostFinder, Changelog

1.6.0

  • The addon no longer registers the combat log by itself. Some clients refuse it, which opened an error window on every login. Run reports go out as before, without the per-player output figures.
  • /bf mesure tries to enable those figures on your client, and tells you whether it worked.

1.5.4

  • The addon no longer listens to Blizzard's own error events. If your client refuses the combat log, the run report still goes out, only the performance figures are missing, and it is said once instead of at every key.

1.5.3

  • When the game blocks an action without naming it, the addon now reports what it was doing at that moment, so the cause can be found.

1.5.2

  • Fixed "action blocked" when starting a Mythic+ key. The combat log is now registered once at load instead of at the start of the run.

1.5.1

  • Fixed empty boxes where icons should be: the game fonts carry no pictograms. Buttons and labels now use plain words.

1.5.0

  • The end-of-run panel replaces the 1-to-5 rating with a yes / no verdict, set in one click per player.
  • A comment field about the run now goes with the report.
  • Both travel to the website along with the rest of the report.

1.4.0

  • Cross-realm warning. Inviting by name into a realm that is not connected to yours fails silently in-game. The row now says so, and points at the Battle.net friend fallback.

1.3.0

  • The imported roster, the run result and your ratings now survive a /reload and a disconnect.
  • The roster string carries each player's specialisation and the Mythic+ keystone they hold; the addon shows both.

1.2.0

  • End-of-run panel. It opens when a key completes: duration, result, per-player output, deaths and interrupts, then the string to paste back on the website.
  • Player ratings.
  • /bf simuler opens the panel on a fabricated run, so you can try it alone.

1.1.3

  • Fixed the "BoostFinder has been blocked" message: the combat log now lives on its own frame, registered only while a key is running.

1.1.2

  • Removed the automatic Battle.net friend request, which is reserved to Blizzard's own interface. The BattleTag is shown instead, for a manual add.

1.1.1

  • Removed combat log file writing, which was never needed.

1.1.0

  • End-of-run report, measured from the combat log.
  • Alliance / Horde rosters are flagged: inviting by name fails across opposite factions.
  • The boosted player's invite can be forced before every helper is in the group, in two clicks.
  • The codec now tolerates unknown fields: a string produced by a newer website version is no longer rejected.
  • The addon version is shown in the window and by /bf version.

1.0.0

  • Import a roster from the website by pasting a string.
  • Two sections, helpers then boosted, with live presence.
  • One-click invites, one click, one invite, never automated.
  • Battle.net friend fallback for cross-realm.
