StutterAlert 1.0.1
✨ New
- Stacking alert banners. Banners now stay up for ~10 seconds and stack instead of flashing past. Repeated spikes from the same source collapse into a single banner with a counter e.g.
Plater x14 - peak 120 msthat stays alive as long as the spikes keep coming, then fades. Much better for chain pulls. - "Why am I stuttering & what to try" panel. Left-click the StutterAlert button to open a full diagnostic panel. The left side explains, in plain English, where and when your stutters happen (including the specific zone) and gives ranked, personalized suggestions. The right side is the shareable report for copy/paste.
- No-guesswork, personalized advice. The panel reads your current graphics settings and points out specific ones to lower showing current vs. default values tailored to your dominant stutter cause, and aware of your separate raid graphics settings. It strictly advises and never changes any settings for you. It points you to System → Graphics (and to
/aioif you run Advanced Interface Options). - Two new, more specific causes. "Combat effects" (spell/particle/effect load mid-fight) and "World streaming" (terrain loading as you travel) are now identified separately instead of being lumped into the generic "Engine spike."
- Last 5 pulls in the tooltip. Hover the button to review how your recent pulls went at a glance. Session-only, never saved to disk.
- Addon logos. Each addon blamed for a stutter now shows its own icon next to its name in banners and the tooltip, so you can spot culprits instantly. Game/engine causes keep the WoW mark.
🔧 Improved
- Post-pull summaries now linger longer and stack with your other alerts, so they don't vanish before your next pull when chain pulling.
- Cleaned up the tooltip's click-hint wording.
🐛 Fixed
- Report numbers now add up. The summary line, game-cause counts, and Top Sources previously drew from two different time windows, so the totals could look contradictory (e.g. "0 from addons" above a list of addon culprits). Everything now shares one window and reconciles.
⚠️ Note
- This update resets your stored stutter history once on first login, the data is now recorded in a way that lets every figure reconcile, so older entries can't be carried over. Your settings and overlay position are kept.
