Storyveil Profile Bridge (SPB)

Roleplay Without Borders.

Storyveil Profile Bridge (SPB) is a standalone World of Warcraft addon designed to help roleplayers exchange character profiles across faction and realm boundaries using supported addon communication routes.

Originally developed for Storyveil RP(To be Released), SPB is also available independently for players using existing roleplay addons.

Features

Cross-Faction Profile Sharing

Exchange compatible RP profile information between Alliance and Horde players when a supported communication route is available.

Cross-Realm Profile Sharing

Discover and retrieve profiles from participating players on other realms without requiring both players to use the full Storyveil RP addon.

TRP3 and MSP Compatibility

SPB supports compatible profile information from Storyveil RP, Total RP 3, and MSP based roleplay addons.

Profile Discovery and Caching

Automatically discover eligible participating characters and retain received profiles to reduce unnecessary requests.

Communication Management

SPB includes shared traffic scheduling, transmission limits, request management, and diagnostics designed to reduce unnecessary addon-message traffic.

Musician Integration Experimental

Optional integration with Musician enables compatible music data to use supported SPB communication routes for cross-faction and cross-realm playback.

Both participants must have Storyveil Profile Bridge (SPB) and Musician installed and enabled to hear music across factions or realms through SPB.

SPB provides the communication bridge, while Musician handles music playback. If either participant does not have SPB installed, music cannot be transmitted between them through SPB.

Blizzard's addon communication restrictions still apply.

Standalone and Storyveil Compatibility

SPB can be installed independently of Storyveil RP(To be Released).

Players using Storyveil RP can use its built-in Profile Bridge functionality without installing the standalone addon.

Requirements

• World of Warcraft Retail — Midnight
• A supported communication route between participating players
• Compatible RP profile data for profile exchange

Storyveil RP, Total RP 3, and other compatible RP addons are optional.

Musician is optional and only required for music-related functionality.

Getting Started

1. Install Storyveil Profile Bridge.
2. Enable the addon on the character selection screen.
3. Enter the game and use /svpbridge to open the bridge settings.
4. Configure cross-faction sharing, cross-realm sharing, and automatic discovery.
5. Have another participating player install SPB.
6. Test profile discovery and retrieval using the supported communication routes available to both players.

SPB cannot bypass Blizzard's faction, realm, proximity, or addon communication restrictions. Not every nearby player will necessarily be reachable this is still experimental.

Beta Testing

SPB is currently in public beta.

We are looking for roleplayers to test cross-faction and cross-realm profile exchange, addon interoperability, Musician integration, and communication stability.

Please report issues involving:

• Failed or incomplete profile exchanges
• Incorrect or outdated profile information
• Unexpected disconnects
• Excessive network activity
• Profile discovery failures
• Problems with Musician playback
• Compatibility problems with other RP addons

When reporting an issue, include your WoW version, relevant installed addons, and steps to reproduce the problem.

This beta has undergone development side validation but still requires live testing across different realms, factions, and network conditions with more participants.
