5.0.1 (2026-07-14) — fixes only, no new features

  • Fixed: the bag-scan results window no longer lists a wrong-primary-stat item under "Upgrades" when it doesn't actually cross a threshold — it now gets its own "Wrong primary stat" group, sorted between Upgrades and Other items.
  • Fixed: the Overview tab's stat numbers now match what the bar is showing — a stat in priority/leveling mode no longer displays a misleading, unreachable threshold number next to it (shows "<rating> · Priority" instead).
  • Fixed: settings-window sections now have consistent padding on top and bottom (top padding used to be missing).
  • Fixed: the settings window's scrollbar now only appears when there's actually something to scroll.
  • Fixed: Overview tab stat labels and numbers no longer sit flush against the window's edge — same margin as the character name/profile line above them.
  • Internal: error reports now capture more useful diagnostic info in case you need to report a bug. No visible change.

5.0.0 (2026-07-13)

New features:

  • Bag upgrade scanner — a "Scan bags for upgrades" button (Profiles tab) and /statmarks scan compare every equippable item in your bags against your equipped gear, using your active profile's thresholds — the same math as the item tooltip. Results open in a dedicated window, split into an "Upgrades" group and an "Other items" group, real upgrades sorted first within each. Manual only — never scans automatically or in the background. Refuses to scan while in combat or while stat values are restricted, instead of showing possibly wrong numbers.
  • Gear-change threshold notifications — an on-screen notice when a tracked stat crosses your threshold after changing gear, in either direction, even across a full equipment-set swap — fires once, never per item. Never fires during combat. Both directions have their own toggle and editable text under Notifications; shares position/duration/size/sound with the instance reminder.
  • Primary stat awareness — item tooltips and the bag scanner now also check Strength/Agility/Intellect. An item with the wrong primary stat for your spec gets a clear warning; a correct-primary item with a different amount shows a normal delta line. Items whose primary adapts to the wearer never warn. Toggle under Appearance (default on).
  • Auto-priority mode for leveling — a tracked stat without a threshold in your active profile (or, even with one set, while your own total secondary-stat budget is still under half of what the profile asks for) now shows a priority-guidance bar — your rating plotted against the relative stat priorities from a reference profile of the same class/spec — instead of sitting inert or showing an unreachable target. Item tooltips and the bag scanner frame deltas for these stats as moving toward/away from that priority rather than threshold crossings. Never derived from your currently equipped gear; reverts to normal display automatically once you've out-geared the leveling phase.
  • Minimap right-click menu — right-click the minimap button for quick access to "Scan bags for upgrades" and "Open settings." Left-click and dragging are unchanged. Toggle under Appearance.
  • Loot and reward markers — quest reward choices and group loot rolls now show a small corner badge on the item icon when it crosses a threshold or has the wrong primary stat for your spec. Toggle under Appearance (master switch plus one per surface).
  • Main/Twink profile relationship — a profile now remembers which character created it. Viewed on any other character of the same class/spec, its threshold fields are locked (read-only, labeled "from <Character-Realm>"), with an "Unlock" button for that settings session only — protects a carefully tuned profile from accidental edits on an alt, without needing a separate import step (profiles are already shared account-wide). Selecting the profile, using it (including priority-mode guidance), and Rename/Duplicate/Delete are never affected — only editing threshold values is gated. Profiles created before this update have no owner and stay editable by everyone, as before; ownership never travels through a shared export string. If the profile's spec is missing talent builds on the current character, a hint links to the Talent Builds tab.

Changed:

  • Redesigned bag-scan results window: two-line rows (icon, item link, notes) with compact, color-coded per-stat delta chips below, matching the item tooltip's color language. Items with a threshold crossing or a wrong primary stat sort first and stand out most.
  • Settings window visual overhaul: every section now uses a consistent boxed panel style; the largest sections (Instance reminder, Gear-change notifications, Item comparisons & loot) are now collapsible. Appearance's many small sections are grouped into three: Display, Item comparisons & loot, Colors. The Archon.gg quick links moved up to sit directly below the threshold inputs on the Profiles tab. Overview gained its own "Scan bags for upgrades" button. The Sharing and Talent Builds tabs each got a short clarifying hint (a "shared" chat line only confirms sending, not receipt; creating a talent build adds an inactive loadout slot you still select yourself in Blizzard's Talents UI).
