# Super Simple CDM
A World of Warcraft Retail addon that lets you select entries from Blizzard's built-in Cooldown Manager (CDM) and display them individually wherever you want.
## Features
- Select CDM spells and buffs for your current specialization and position them independently.
- Customize each icon's size, opacity, and number display. Selections and layouts are saved per specialization.
- Icons turn gray during cooldowns, regain their color when the cooldown ends, and display a ready flash automatically.
- Track equipped items and potion/consumable cooldowns provided by CDM. Equipped items follow their equipment slots, preserving placement when you change gear.
- Highlight Blizzard's default party and raid frames for selected buffs from your own class, with configurable border colors and thickness.
- Save six shared custom colors using Blizzard's color picker. Click an empty slot to configure it; left-click a saved color to apply it or right-click to edit it.
- Enable an optional Arcane Mage helper. When enabled, it can be moved together with your icons in position-editing mode.
## Installation
1. Close the game and extract the ZIP.
2. Place the `SSCdm` folder in `World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/`.
3. Verify that the path is `Interface/AddOns/SSCdm/SSCdm.toc`, then enable the addon in game.
Targets Retail interface version `120100`. Not intended for Classic. No additional addons are required.
## Opening settings
- Type `/sscdm` in chat.
- Select **Super Simple CDM** from the addon compartment beside the minimap calendar.
- Alternatively, open **Esc → Options → AddOns → Super Simple CDM** and click the settings button.
The addon does not create a separate minimap button. The settings UI is currently in Korean; this document provides English usage instructions.
## Usage
1. Check an entry in the CDM tab to display it.
2. Select it to adjust its size, opacity, and number display on the right.
3. Click **위치 편집** (Edit positions), drag the blue boxes, then click **위치 편집 완료** (Finish editing).
Available display modes depend on the entry type. Spell cooldowns support charges, remaining cooldown, buff time, and related modes. Items support remaining cooldown or no number. Buff entries appear while the corresponding aura is present. Potions are tracked through CDM's consumable categories using the cooldown of the potion used.
The **프레임 강조효과** (Frame highlights) tab controls buff borders on Blizzard's default party and raid frames. Buff toggles apply immediately or after combat. Border color and thickness changes require a UI reload, as indicated by the apply button.
For Arcane Mages, enable **비전마법사 도우미** (Arcane Mage helper) to display the optional helper. It is also movable in position-editing mode.
Settings are stored in `SSCdmDB`. You do not need to delete SavedVariables when updating.
## Distribution
Current version: **0.7 build1**.
The feature version changes only when explicitly directed by the author. Increment the build number once per commit, updating both TOC `Version` and `X-Build`. Editing, testing, or packaging alone does not increment it.
Run `python tools/build_release.py` to create `release/SSCdm.zip`. The archive contains one top-level `SSCdm/` folder with runtime files and both Korean and English READMEs.
Before replacing an existing ZIP, the builder reads its packaged TOC version and preserves the archive as a versioned backup, such as `SSCdm-v.070-build1.zip` for 0.7 build1. Existing backups are preserved with numeric suffixes when needed. Packaging alone does not change the addon version.
Tests, development tools, Git metadata, working notes, promotional artwork, and previous release archives are excluded. Recent changes have been verified in a mocked Lua environment; actual rendering and combat behavior still require in-game verification.
