SpecialCraft works out what a craft is actually worth and helps you get through a lot of crafting without babysitting it. It reads your prices, your inventory and your crafting queue from TradeSkillMaster, and everything it tells you is based on your own character: your specialization tree, the gear you are wearing, and what your crafts have really been doing.
What it does
Profit that matches your character. Every recipe is evaluated with multicraft, resourcefulness, ingenuity and concentration, at TSM prices and after the auction cut. It picks the cheapest reagent mix that still reaches the quality you want, and tells you what one point of concentration is worth in gold on this character - so you can see whether a concentrated craft is worth it before you spend it.
It learns from you. The proc estimates start from the game's numbers and are corrected by what your own crafts actually returned. The more you craft, the closer the estimate gets.
A queue that all your characters share. Add crafts from any window, and the queue survives reloads and character switches. The shopping list adds up the reagents and subtracts what TSM says you already own, then hands you a TSM shopping string. It can import TSM's own crafting queue as well.
Patron orders. Fetch them, see the profit of each one with the reward container counted at what those containers have really been dropping for you, filter out the ones you do not want, and queue the rest in one press - optionally the moment you click the crafting table. There is a stock-up list so the reagents your orders keep eating are in your bags before you sit down.
Mass salvage that does not stop. One press mills, prospects or recycles everything you have. It tops up the stack the game is eating, follows it when the game takes reagents out of your reagent bank or warband bank instead, and keeps the repeat alive until there is nothing left. There is a checkbox beside the button if you would rather it left your bank alone.
A progress bar for the long jobs. Two thousand potions or six thousand salvages is an hour of the game repeating one cast, and Blizzard's cast bar restarts every few seconds without ever saying where you are. This one counts the whole run: how many of how many, how much is left in your bags and bank, and how long the rest will take - worked out from how fast you are really going on this character, not from a guess.
Concentration everywhere. Every character's concentration in one window, with a warning before any of it overflows. A second account can be paired, so you can see the other one's characters without logging in.
And the small things. A session log with profit, gold per hour and time spent per recipe; past sessions kept; a crafting-results window with proper item tooltips and TSM values; and a cog beside every window's close button that says exactly which columns and fields that window shows.
Requirements
- World of Warcraft: Midnight (12.0.5 and later).
- TradeSkillMaster - not a hard requirement, the addon loads and works without it, but everything to do with prices, ownership and shopping needs it.
Getting started
- Open a profession. The SpecialCraft panel appears beside it.
/sc scanto price your recipes, or just click a recipe to see it evaluated./sclists everything else:queue, session, orders, conc, options.

Credits
The profit model follows the approach worked out in CraftSim by Florian Schneider (MIT licensed), and uses some of the values its community gathered - the rating needed per 1% of a proc, the concentration curve, the reagent weights. No CraftSim code is included; the maths was reimplemented. Prices, inventory and the crafting queue come from TradeSkillMaster through its public API. Full notices are in CREDITS.md inside the addon folder.
This is an alpha
It is used daily on the author's own characters and is covered by 181 automated tests, but nobody else has run it yet. Expect rough edges, and please report anything that looks wrong - a screenshot of the window and what you expected is enough. Nothing it does is destructive: it never sells, mails, deletes or buys anything, and the only items it moves are the stacks it merges in your own bags while salvaging (which you can turn off).
Known limits in 0.1.0:
- English client only; the interface is English.
- Crafting can only be started by your own click or keybind - Blizzard allows an addon no more than that, so "Craft next" is one press per recipe.
- Salvaging from a bank works only where the game itself allows it.
- Reagent and recipe data is generated from the client's own files for Midnight, The War Within and Dragonflight recipes; older expansions are not covered.
