# Speaketh 1.3.0

New features and fixes since 1.2.2.

## New features

- Redesigned settings, Speak window and welcome screen, with collapsible sidebar sections and automatic dialect/effect intensity sliders.
- Refreshed Classic and Void themes, plus an October-only Hallow's End theme.
- Added automatic WIM support for translated character whispers, including long-message splitting and language tags.
- Added language tags inside quoted emote speech, with support for existing quote coloring.
- Added a Speaketh settings shortcut to the game's AddOns options category.

## Fixes

- Dialects and all five speech effects now work alongside active languages, including stutter in translated speech.
- Translation and speech effects better preserve links, colors, raid markers, out-of-character text and asterisk actions.
- Fixed partial fluency revealing words in large steps instead of proportionally.
- Fixed decoding cases that displayed the original text from a different message, and improved decoding of long messages.
- Passive learning no longer counts the same message once per chat tab or learns from your own speech. Opening speech controls also preserves fractional learning progress.
- Fixed starting language fluency on non-English clients and Demonic fluency for Demon Hunters.
- Fixed startup failures that could prevent chat filters, the minimap button and HUD from initializing when deprecated chat APIs were unavailable.
- Fixed raid-leader and instance-leader channel handling, decoding-channel retries, and integrations continuing to translate while Speaketh was disabled.
- Fixed valid custom-language share codes being rejected as corrupted. Custom languages are also matched by display name in language-selection and learning commands.
- Fixed overhead glyph handling of protected text and incorrect replacement of the player's own bubble glyphs.
- Turning an inactive speech effect down to zero no longer disables a different active effect.
