 SmartTotem is an encounter-aware Shaman totem addon designed specifically for WoW TBC content, with a strong focus on SSC/TK raid support and intelligent recommendation systems. The addon provides a compact clickable totem bar that automatically recommends useful totems based on your spec, group role, raid assignment, and active encounter mechanics. Players can manually override recommendations using customizable flyout menus while still benefiting from automated boss logic and phase-aware suggestions such as Hydross Frost/Nature transitions.

The addon now includes stable active totem highlighting, recommendation highlighting, minimap integration, role/spec profiles, Totemic Call support, tooltip systems, pulse alerts, range/buff fading, and simulation tools for encounter testing and development. SmartTotem is built around an event-driven architecture intended to support future combat-log parsing, automatic mechanic detection, trash specialization, encounter-state systems, and advanced raid intelligence.
