Simple Addon Manager - Category Tree

An extension for Simple Addon Manager by Eliote. It shows the addon list grouped by category as a collapsible tree, similar to the default WoW addon list.

Requires Simple Addon Manager. This addon only changes how the list is displayed. Categories, profiles, filters and everything else keep working as in Simple Addon Manager.

Features

• Groups addons by category: your own categories and those from the addons' .toc files (Category / X-Category).
• Collapsible category headers with a checkbox to enable or disable all addons in a category and an enabled / total counter.
• If you assign one of your own categories to an addon, it is shown only there, not additionally under its .toc category.
• Addons without a category are listed under Uncategorized at the end.
• Selecting categories in the right-hand panel limits the tree to those categories.
• Works together with Simple Addon Manager's dependency tree view: dependent addons stay nested under their parent.
• Collapsed state is saved between sessions.

Usage

Three buttons are added next to the options (gear) button:

• Tree icon: toggle the category view on or off
• +: expand all categories
• −: collapse all categories

Category headers: left-click expands or collapses, right-click opens a menu (enable or disable all, expand or collapse all). Slash command: /samtree.

Notes

• A separate addon: it does not modify Simple Addon Manager's files. It hooks into Simple Addon Manager's list building, so a major update of Simple Addon Manager may require an update here.
• Localization: English and German.
