What's new

SignalFire 1.5.0 is the largest update to the addon so far. It expands SignalFire from a primarily Triumvirate-focused group finder into a profile-aware group discovery, guild, event, notice, and player-network addon for both Triumvirate and Ascension / Conquest of Azeroth.

Dual-Server Support

  • Added profile-specific activities, dungeons, raids, aliases, settings, and module availability.
  • Profile switching now updates SignalFire without requiring a reload.
  • Ascension automatically disables unsupported Invasions and /who-based discovery.
  • Triumvirate retains its supported /who, guild-discovery, and Invasions features.
  • Settings are stored separately between server profiles.

  • Added a manual Refresh Now option.

Installation

  1. Fully exit World of Warcraft.
  2. Delete the existing Interface\AddOns\SignalFire folder.
  3. Do not overwrite an older SignalFire installation.
  4. Extract the new package into Interface\AddOns.
  5. Confirm the final path is:

Interface\AddOns\SignalFire\SignalFire.toc

  1. Launch the game and use /sf to open SignalFire.

Known Limitation

Some Ascension/CoA clients may experience intermittent micro-stutter during extremely heavy public-chat link activity. SignalFire includes deferred parsing, faster link handling, and a Main Chat Only option, but part of the issue appears to be related to the Ascension/CoA chat-rendering path.

Players affected by this can reduce the impact by enabling Main Chat Only or disabling visible SignalFire chat links.
