SignalFire is a group finding, social discovery, and activity organization addon built for WoW: Forever.

It is designed around a simple idea: finding people to play with should be easier without turning the game into automated matchmaking.

SignalFire brings together group listings, public chat, nearby players, social tools, scheduling, recruitment, and group utilities while preserving the player interaction that makes Classic-style World of Warcraft social.

Three Ways to Use SignalFire

SignalFire includes three experiences designed for different players.

FULL

The complete SignalFire experience.

Full mode includes the entire collection of SignalFire systems, including group discovery, Nearby players, social features, recruitment, scheduling, Player Memory, navigation, raid tools, crafting features, and advanced utilities.

LITE

A streamlined modern experience focused on finding and forming groups quickly.

Lite keeps the core SignalFire experience centered around:

• Essential settings

CLASSIC

A lightweight experience inspired by the original SignalFire.

Classic is designed for players who want a straightforward group browser without the larger modern interface.

• Whisper and grouping actions
• Optional profile information when contacting group leaders

Switch between modes based on how much SignalFire you want.

Discover Groups

SignalFire combines multiple sources of potential group activity into one discovery experience.

Find opportunities through:

• Public Chat
• Nearby players
• Dungeon groups
• Raid groups
• Existing activity information

SignalFire helps organize those opportunities into something easier to browse than constantly watching chat.

Public Chat Integration

Players do not need to change how they advertise groups.

SignalFire can recognize supported LFG and LFM messages in normal public chat and turn them into structured activity information.

Supported advertisements can become clickable SignalFire links that make it easier to:

• View activity information
• See requested roles
• Whisper the player
• Group up
• Open relevant SignalFire information

Players without SignalFire can still participate normally.

Nearby Players

SignalFire helps you discover potential group members who are already around you.

Nearby tools can surface players in your area and provide quick access through notifications and the optional Nearby Quick Panel.

The goal is to make spontaneous grouping easier while questing, exploring, or waiting near an activity.

Create and Browse Listings

Create structured listings for:

• Dungeons
• Raids

Listings can contain activity details, requested roles, and roster information.

SignalFire provides contextual actions to make joining or contacting group leaders faster.

Player Memory

Remember the people you meet.

SignalFire can privately track useful information about players you have grouped with, including:

• Specialization
• Role
• Last grouped information

Player Memory is stored locally and is designed to make repeat grouping and community building easier.

Favorites, Watchlists, and History

Keep track of players and activities that matter to you.

These systems make it easier to reconnect with players instead of treating every group as a completely isolated interaction.

Scheduled Groups and Calendar

Plan activities ahead of time instead of relying entirely on immediate LFG advertisements.

SignalFire supports scheduled group tools and calendar workflows for organizing future activities.

Guild and Raid Recruitment

SignalFire includes dedicated recruitment systems for communities looking beyond one temporary group.

Players running SignalFire can optionally share supported presence and activity information through the SignalFire Network.

Privacy controls allow players to decide what information they want to share.

SignalFire also continues to support normal public chat and players who do not have the addon installed.

Built for WoW: Forever

SignalFire is being actively developed specifically around the social and grouping experience of WoW: Forever.

The project is under active beta development, with regular improvements to:
