ShotWeaver: Hunter DPS Coach

ShotWeaver is an in-game timing and decision coach for Hunters playing The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary. It helps players protect Auto Shot timing, fit Steady Shots into safe windows, and recognize valuable Arcane Shot or Multi-Shot follow-ups.

ShotWeaver provides guidance only. It does not automate movement, targeting, or ability use.

## How the timer works

The normal timing bar uses three primary zones:

- Green: Safe to begin Steady Shot.
- Yellow: Do not begin Steady Shot; wait or use an appropriate instant ability.
- Red: Stop pressing abilities and allow Auto Shot to fire.

The neon-orange marker shows your current position in the ranged attack cycle.

ShotWeaver may also display planning and actionable prompts:

- M means Multi-Shot is being planned.
- A means Arcane Shot is being planned.
- M! means press Multi-Shot now.
- A! means press Arcane Shot now.

After an instant-shot follow-up, the blue recovery display helps prevent an early Steady Shot from disrupting the next Auto Shot.

Commands

- `/hca` — show or hide ShotWeaver.
- `/hca reset` — reset session statistics.
- `/hca on` — enable coaching.
- `/hca off` — disable coaching.

Compatibility

This release targets The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary 2.5.5 client using interface version 20505.

ShotWeaver has no required addon dependencies and performs no network communication.

## Release scope

Version 0.10.14-beta is the frozen raid-validation build intended for stable guild testing and raid use.

Experimental melee-weaving assistance is deliberately not included in this public release.

Installation

Install ShotWeaver through the CurseForge app, or extract the archive so the addon appears at:

`World of Warcraft/_anniversary_/Interface/AddOns/ShotWeaver/ShotWeaver.toc`

Enable ShotWeaver from the AddOns screen at character selection, then log in or reload the interface. Type `/hca` to open the display.
