What's new

0.1.4 — set names that start with a command, and nameplates in your backups

Tested on retail (12.1.5): the WoW: Forever beta has closed, and there is no Forever client to test on until launch. Moving numbers saved by /mit remember before this version to your first character is checked in our test harness.

  • Fixed: a set whose name begins with a command word. /gs New DPS made a new set called DPS instead of putting on your set called New DPS. When everything after /gs is one of your sets' names, that set goes on now, in a macro too. A command word on its own is still the command: a set called just List is put on with a click, or its number from /gs list, and Shieldwall says so when you make or name one.
  • Fixed: a typed /gs delete asks first, with the same box as Delete on a set's right-click menu. It deleted the set at once.
  • Fixed: /tw unlock undoes /tw lock. Once locked, the threat meter could be moved only while the edit mode was open, and was locked again when it shut. /tw unlock now lets it be dragged again for good, and still opens the edit mode; /tw help says which does which.
  • Fixed: the raid check and the gear sets panel start in different places. Both opened on the same spot, one on top of the other. The raid check now starts just above the gear sets panel and grows upwards; one you have moved stays where you put it.
  • The raid check no longer says a raider has no Shieldwall when they may. A raider who runs Shieldwall with "Tell my group when my key cooldowns are ready" switched off sends nothing either, and the two cannot be told apart, so the line under Cooldowns reads "Not heard (no Shieldwall, or sharing off)", and a cooldown's tooltip says "not heard".
  • The nameplate colours are in your backups. BLib's Export / Import, and /blib profile save and load, now carry Shieldwall's nameplates: both roles' colours, the blend, the shading of your target and the threat percentage settings. They were in no backup.
  • Fixed: the settings show what was put back or loaded. After Put the colours back on the Nameplates page, or a profile loaded with Shieldwall's settings open, the page kept showing the old values until you clicked them. It shows the new ones at once now, on every page.
  • Fixed: /mit remember is each character's own. The saved numbers were kept with the settings, so every character on the global settings compared itself with whoever saved last. Numbers saved before this version go to the first character you log in with.
  • The right version. The aura board's settings and /ga help said 0.1.0 whatever version you had; they, and /shieldwall help, now show the version installed.
  • The aura board's Profile page no longer blames the WoW: Forever beta for lost settings: it says what an export is for.
  • No "Threatwise loaded" line at every login. /tw probe still says what the threat probe has recorded.
