SharedForeverUI2 1.0.27 – Release Description

English

SharedForeverUI2 is a standalone UI library for WoW Forever (Interface 16001). It is installed as a regular World of Warcraft addon and provides a consistent bronze/dark Warcraft-inspired interface to other addons.

The library offers reusable windows and navigation, bronze action buttons, checkboxes and toggles, text inputs, dropdowns, sliders, progress bars, sortable/filterable tables, lists, tooltips, confirmation dialogs and a central icon picker. Addons can use their own language, configuration and saved window positions through isolated addon contexts.

The icon library includes 93 distinct Lucide symbols, each in Standard and Thin, four custom resource symbols and 12 selectable colors. The icon picker supports selecting an icon, color and line style without changing the caller's saved values until confirmation.

Version 1.0.27 adds navigation:SetLabels(sectionLabels, itemLabels) to update translated navigation labels without rebuilding the navigation and improves font/text refresh behavior. The short text flicker seen with some fonts in the Forever client may still occur before the text is automatically restored.

Installation: Extract the ZIP into World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/ so the folder is SharedForeverUI2/. Addons requiring it must list ## Dependencies: SharedForeverUI2 in their .toc file. Install those addons separately. The optional developer test lab is not included.

Compatibility: WoW Forever only; Interface 16001. This release does not support other WoW versions.

Licensing: Lucide icons are redistributed under the ISC License; the license file is included. Rights to redistribute the four custom resource icons should be verified before public distribution.

Deutsch

Installation: ZIP in World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/ entpacken, sodass der Ordner SharedForeverUI2/ entsteht.
