SessionScout 0.1.0 - Forever

Choose how much time you have and see up to three unfinished personal tasks that fit.

This first regular release brings the tested session planner and task-management redesign together:

• This session focuses on your time budget, suggested tasks and next-session reminder.
• My tasks separates unfinished and completed tasks, with a dedicated editor and Undo.
• Custom minutes accepts 1-240 whole minutes. Invalid entries keep your current budget.
• If nothing fits, the planner explains the shortest unfinished estimate and offers a route to your tasks.
• Existing tasks, completion and reminders keep the same saved-data format.

Open /scout. In My tasks, choose New task and enter your own time estimate and priority. Return to This session and select a preset or enter Custom minutes, then Apply. Task definitions are shared across characters; completion can be per-character or shared. Editing or deleting a definition affects every character.

Targets WoW Forever 1.60.1 (interface 16001). The new controls were exercised in 1.60.1.70450 using physical mouse and keyboard input: create/edit/cancel, complete/undo, confirmed deletion, 120/90-minute budgets and invalid input. After one reload, all 11 original tasks, completion records and character settings matched their pre-test values. The disposable task was removed. The release differs from that tested alpha.4 package only in its two version strings.

Validation includes 71 automated model, mocked integration and Python tooling checks. Actual reset crossings, alternate characters, combat transitions, extreme UI scales, long sessions and every restart/bag/durability case remain unverified. Earlier scoped checks include reminder persistence; this latest window preserved the existing empty reminder. No full Lua-error or taint audit was performed.

This is a manual task planner. It does not discover game activities, detect quest completion, measure how long tasks take, or calculate gear upgrades. It has no external service or telemetry. CurseForge-app detection, installation and updating for Forever have not been verified.

To install manually, close WoW and extract the SessionScout directory into your Forever Interface/AddOns folder. SessionScout/SessionScout.toc must be directly inside it. Keep your WTF/SavedVariables data when updating.
