SessionRecap keeps a running tally of your play session, so at any point you can see how it is going. Made for World of Warcraft: Forever.
What it shows
- Time played
- Money in, money out and the difference, in gold, silver and copper
- Experience gained and experience per hour
- A level bar with your progress, rested experience, and how long the rest of the level will take at this pace
- Levels gained, quests handed in and deaths
- What you gathered: ore, herbs and skins
- The items you looted most, with their icons
- Your last ten sessions on each character, to compare against
Using it
There is nothing to start: counting begins when you log in, with one line in chat to say so. Open the window with /session or the pocket-watch button on the minimap.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| /session | Open the window |
| /session report | Sum the session up in chat |
| /session new | Start a new session now |
| /session greet | The line in chat at login, on or off |
| /session button | Show or hide the minimap button |
| /session debug | What the game has reported this login, to explain a count that stays at zero |
What counts as a session
Logging back in within 15 minutes carries on the same session, so a quick relog does not split it. After a longer break a new session starts by itself, and the last one is summed up in chat. Very short sessions are not kept.
Good to know
- Sessions are kept per character; settings are shared across your account.
- If the game withholds a figure from addons for a moment, it is skipped rather than counted wrongly.
