1.1.27
What's new
[1.1.27] - 2026-09-15
New Features
- The Resource Bar and the Secondary Resource Bar each have a new Show Only In Combat option on their own page, which keeps the bar off screen until you enter combat.
- The cast bar can now divide a channel into equal segments and highlight one of them, so a channel can be cut short on purpose at a chosen point.
- A new Channel Clip Window section on the Cast Bar page sets how many segments each channel is divided into and which one is highlighted. Channels are added to its list as you cast them, and only your own abilities are added, so objects you channel into in the world stay out of the list.
- The clip window can also recolor the bar, glow the bar and play a sound when the bar enters it, each optional.
- Channels you never want to clip can be ignored from the Channel Clip Window section, which removes them from the list and keeps them from being added again. An Ignored Channels list below shows what is being kept out, and any of them can be allowed back.
Improvements
- Sentinel CDM now requires World of Warcraft 12.1 or later. Support for 12.0.7 has been removed, and with it the older display path that copied Blizzard's rendered Tracked Bars. Bars and Duration Bars are now always drawn by Sentinel CDM itself.
- Because of that, an aura no longer has to sit in any particular section of Blizzard's Cooldown Settings for a Duration Bar or a CDM Bar to work. The Not Tracked and Needs Tracked Bars warnings have been removed, along with the notes and hints telling you to move an ability between sections.
- Blizzard's Tracked Bars section is no longer read at all, so Sentinel CDM no longer keeps that section running in the background.
- Reduced memory use and startup work by removing the build checks and duplicate display code that only existed to support the older client.
Bug Fixes
- The Cooldown Manager settings warning could name sections Sentinel CDM no longer reads, telling you to change a setting that had no effect on what was on screen. It now reports only the sections still feeding your display. Blizzard's Tracked Bars section is no longer reported at all.
