At a banker, your bank opens beside your bags in the same style, grouped the same way.
Description
Blizzard's bags are five separate windows of unsorted slots. Satchel is one window, sorted, that remembers everything each of your characters owns.
What it does
- One window for your bags, opened by the bag key, the backpack and every bag button, and by anything that opens the bags: a vendor, the bank, the mailbox, the auction house. Search, a bag bar, and a count of free slots.
- Groups you choose. Items are grouped by what they are (Trade Goods,
Consumables, Equipment and so on). Add your own groups, reorder them, or start
from a template (Herbalism, Mining, Questing, Enchanting, Engineering,
General). Anything unmatched goes in Other, and
/satchel pinputs one particular item in a group. - Sort and lock. Sort in group order, moving items the way you would. Lock slots to keep things where you want them; sorting works around them or leaves them out, your choice. Nothing moves in combat.
- The bank beside your bags, with Forever's bank tabs, and the reagent bag and keyring read with the rest.
- Every character, offline. Right-click the portrait in the header to look through another character's bags and bank.
- How many you own, on every item tooltip: each character's bags, bank and mail, and a total.
- Gold across your characters. Hover the gold for every character's gold, a total, and what you have made or spent this session.
- Mail with memory. Each character's mailbox is remembered, with a warning at login when mail is about to expire on any character, and a Take Gold button on the inbox.
