R Loot is RaidRoster’s in-game raid loot council. It replaces chaotic Need/Greed spam with a shared board the whole raid can see: raiders state what they want, the council votes, and the raid leader (the director) awards the piece and trades it out.
It is built to feel familiar if you already know RC Loot Council — same director model, same “items land in the leader’s bags” flow — but it lives inside the RaidRoster suite (/rrloot or /rrl), with a Graphite + lime board, guild-style response buttons, and history you can import from RC.
How a raid night runs
When you enter a raid as leader, RR Loot can ask whether to handle loot for that instance. Accept and two things happen: session mode turns on (opening loot starts or fills a council session), and auto group loot turns on. Raiders auto-pass Blizzard rolls; the director Needs everything, so tradable raid gear lands in their bags for the council. LFG, arenas, and battlegrounds are left alone.
Opening a boss chest does not dump you onto the board. You get a Start Session window first: tradable bag items, scroll the list, drag extra pieces in, remove junk with X, then Start all. Each Start is a per-boss session. The session dropdown and the arrows on Items switch sessions; you click a piece in the list to change which item is up.
Once a session is live, everyone sees the same board: item queue on one side, raider table on the other. The director’s selection syncs to the raid. Awarding or skipping moves to the next open piece.
Who does what
The loot director is always the live group/raid leader (same idea as RC’s master looter). Only they start/stop/reset sessions, add loot, award, and run the director dock. Council members vote. Everyone else observes — they still see the board and send their own response.
Raiders answer with guild-style buttons, defaulting to Tier S → Tier A → Major Upgrade → Minor Upgrade → Off spec → Transmog → Pass. Pass is a system skip: it is always on the bar, always records Pass, and cannot be removed. Buttons are editable (name, priority, color, whisper key, note required). Lower priority ranks higher on the board. The director’s button list syncs to the raid when a session starts or settings are saved.
On the current item, a local advice line suggests which button to press and the upgrade % versus the equipped slot. It is a hint only — you still click. Autopass covers unusable armor, shields, weapons, and the current spec’s wrong primary stat.
The director can Ask all to resend the choice request and restart the choice timer (default 2 minutes). When it expires, raiders cannot change their response.
The board
The raider table is built like RC: rank, role, response, iLvl, item-level diff, equipped g1/g2 for that slot (tooltip / shift-click to link), votes, priority, roll, note, and a Trade button. Same response groups together, then higher roll. Raiders send ilvl and gear when a session opens.
Item status is a single icon: green if traded, yellow if awarded but not traded yet, red X if someone else is holding it (name on hover). In the Items list, only the director can click every piece; other raiders can select what their class can use.
Right-click a name for change response, request roll, award, vote, or whisper. Rolls work like RC: this raider, everyone, Tiers only, same response, or same roll. Targets get a roll window; /roll 1-100 in chat also counts.
Award, trade, history
Awards store a reason (BiS, Upgrade, Bank, Disenchant, Free roll). Optionally announce to raid, raid warning, or guild. After an award, if the winner is in range, the director auto-opens trade and puts the item in the window. Confirmed raid trades are logged, synced, and shown in History (who traded what to whom). A recap closes the night.
Settings → History is a per-character ledger of awards and trades. You can import RC Loot Council history so older nights are not lost. Hovering a raider on the board shows history for the current slot only; a click opens the full person sheet.
Anyone in the raid can run a sync check (/rrloot sync) to see who has RR Loot and which version. After you accept “use RR Loot for this raid”, that versions window opens automatically.
Test and commands
Test starts a dry-run session with fake items, labeled TEST; awards are not saved. The director can reset the current session (wipes replies, votes, rolls, and winners, then resyncs).
Useful commands: /rrloot (or /rrl) to toggle the board, plus start, stop, add, test, settings, sync, import, minimap. Usage can be manual (/rrloot start) or automatic when loot opens. UI scale, minimap button, hide-Blizzard-loot, and show-rolls are in General settings.
In one line: RR Loot is the RaidRoster loot engine — a shared, RC-style council that takes loot from the boss, through votes and awards, into the winner’s bags, with a ledger you can keep.
