Description

RPVox gives your character a voice.

It speaks roleplay lines in /say and /em as you play: when you cast, when you
drop below a quarter health, when you die, when you come back, when you land a
killing blow, when you eat, fish, mine, mount up, or find somewhere you have
never been. You choose how often it happens and it does the rest.

WHAT IT COVERS

- Combat. Every ability in your class pack has its own set of lines.
- Reactions. Low health, death, resurrection, killing blow, entering and
leaving combat, being interrupted, levelling, falling, drowning, and
noticing your gear is in pieces.
- Everyday life. Eating, drinking, fishing, mining, herbalism, skinning,
mounting, accepting quests, discovering an area, and crafting across ten
  professions.
- Moods. Switch mood and the same character speaks differently. Grim, weary,
serious and happy are not four settings; they are four versions of the same
  person on four different days.
- Profiles. One per character, each with its own class, mood, lines and
  frequency.

WRITTEN, NOT GENERATED

Every line is hand written. Three characters ship complete: a Forsaken shadow
priest in four moods, an arcanist mage, and a Sin'dorei hunter who treats a
battlefield as a badly organised court. A warrior pack is included in a single
voice, and the remaining classes fall back to a generic set.

Lines are targeted where it makes sense. A line naming your enemy simply will
not fire when you have no target.

MAKE IT YOURS

The stock lines are a starting point, not the point. Open the settings window,
clear any trigger, and write your own. Anything you edit is marked as yours and
is never overwritten by an update.

RESTRAINT BY DEFAULT

The default frequency is deliberately very low. A character who comments on
every single fireball stops being a character and becomes a nuisance in other
people's chat logs. One global gap governs everything, so RPVox never talks
over itself. It never yells, either — /say and /em only, and there is no
setting to change that.
