Royalties 2.3.0
What's new
The Court and the Key Finder are both readable now at guild size, and two things that were quietly failing in combat have stopped.
Changed — The Court
- One line per person, not per character. Royal Points have always been
account-wide, so a raider with three alts was three ladder rows carrying the
same score — wrong about their place and enough to bury everyone below them.
Alts now fold onto their main's row as
+2, with the names in the tooltip. - Pick your main on the Royal Points settings page. It defaults to whichever of your characters logged in first, and only offers characters Royalties has actually run on — offering a name the addon has never seen would let anyone file their score under a guildmate's.
- The ladder scrolls. It stopped at twelve rows and said "28 more not shown", which is the wrong twelve for everybody in the bottom half of a guild.
- Guildmates still on 2.2.0 keep appearing per character until they update. Their ladder keeps working either way — nothing had to break to add this.
Changed — Guild Keys
- The name and score no longer run underneath the Ask button. The row's columns are measured against each other instead of guessed at, so a long name clips rather than overlapping, and the score gets a column of its own because it is the number you are choosing a key by.
- The key list scrolls, instead of showing ten and counting the rest. A guild-wide refresh is exactly when you want to read all of them.
- The window is slightly wider, which is what gives a name room to be read.
Fixed
- Royalties no longer throws an error when chat is refused. Anything the addon says to a group, a raid or the guild is now held until you drop combat rather than being blocked outright — a chat send from an addon mid-pull is refused by WoW, and the group-full announcement for a Mythic+ key was hitting it. The addon believed it had spoken and nobody heard it.
- Dragging a marker bar during a pull no longer errors. Both bars are built out of secure buttons, because that is the only way to place a world marker, so WoW will not let anything move them in combat. The grip now says so instead of filling BugSack. Markers themselves were never affected.
