RogueToxin

RogueToxin is a modern, lightweight poison helper for Rogues in World of Warcraft Retail.

It provides a compact, permanently visible poison bar, spec-aware recommendations, custom poison selection, active poison tracking, and useful warnings without constant sound spam.

Poison Recommendations

RogueToxin displays recommended Lethal and Non-Lethal poisons based on your current Rogue specialization and the poisons your character has learned.

You can select different poisons in the settings window. The recommended choices remain visible, making it easy to compare your selection with the addon's recommendation.

Poison selections are saved between sessions.

Compact Poison Bar

Only the compact poison bar is shown automatically when you log into a Rogue.

• Left-click: Apply your selected Lethal Poison

• Right-click: Apply your selected Non-Lethal Poison

• Drag the small grip: Move the poison bar

The poison bar remembers its position after logout or /reload.

Missing-Poison Warning

If either poison is missing after login, RogueToxin displays:

One of your weapons is missing poison!

The addon also plays an original dramatic spoken warning when sound is enabled. The warning plays once and does not repeat constantly.

The voice uses World of Warcraft's Dialog sound channel rather than the Master channel.

Settings

Open the settings window with the minimap button or one of the slash commands below.

The settings window allows you to:

• View the recommended poisons

• Select your preferred Lethal Poison

• Select your preferred Non-Lethal Poison

• View active poison durations

• Enable or disable warning sound

• Test the warning voice

• Refresh poison status

Poisons cannot be changed while in combat because World of Warcraft protects spell actions during combat.

Slash Commands

• /rtx or /roguetoxin — Open or close the settings window

• /rtx sound — Enable or disable warning sound

• /rtx refresh — Refresh active poison status

• /rtx reset — Reset the window and poison-bar positions

Minimap Button

• Left-click to open or close RogueToxin settings

• Right-click to refresh poison status

• Drag to move the minimap button
