Character Info

Character Info is a modern account-management addon for World of Warcraft, designed to make managing multiple characters simple, fast, and effortless.

Instead of logging through every alt to check professions, Great Vault progress, gold, mail, or saved instances, Character Info stores character snapshots in an account-wide database and presents everything in one convenient dashboard.

Account Dashboard

Get a quick overview of your entire account in one place.

• Total number of saved characters

• Great Vault progress

• Characters with waiting mail

• Saved instance lockouts

• Gold held by all saved characters

• Warband Bank gold

• Combined account gold

• Searchable character list

• Item level and last-seen information

Hover over Total Gold to see a breakdown of character gold, Warband Bank gold, and the combined total.

Automatic Character Tracking

Character Info automatically updates the currently logged-in character and stores the information for account-wide access.

Tracked character information includes:

• Character name

• Realm

• Race and class

• Character level

• Item level

• Last seen

• Gold

• Mail status

• Profession information

• Great Vault progress

• Saved instance lockouts

• Tracked achievements

Logging into an alt briefly is enough to refresh its saved information.

Character Details

Select any saved character to open a detailed overview containing:

• Character information

• Economy status

• Primary professions

• Great Vault status

• Saved instances

• Tracked achievements

The compact page layouts are designed to display the most important information without unnecessary scrolling.

Great Vault

Keep track of weekly Great Vault progress across all your characters.

Character Info displays progress for:

• Raid

• Dungeons

• World activities and Delves

• Available Great Vault rewards

• Total completed Vault slots

Great Vault totals only include supported reward categories, preventing hidden activities from producing incorrect totals.

Professions

Keep track of which characters have the professions you need.

Character Info stores and displays:

• Primary professions

• Profession specializations

• Current skill levels

• Maximum skill levels

• Secondary profession information

Profession information is refreshed when Character Info updates the character snapshot.

Gold and Warband Bank

See your complete account wealth directly from the dashboard.

Character Info tracks:

• Gold carried by every saved character

• Total gold across all saved characters

• Warband Bank gold

• Combined character and Warband Bank gold

Warband Bank gold is stored as one account-wide balance and is not assigned to an individual character.

To make the balance available, open the Warband Bank at least once. You can then press Update Now or click the Warband Bank Gold card to refresh it.

Saved Instances

See active instance lockouts without checking every character individually.

Character Info displays:

• Active saved instances

• Lockouts for each saved character

• Difficulty information

• Reset information

• Boss progress when available

Tracked Achievements

View achievements currently tracked by each character in a clean, compact layout.

Each tracked achievement displays:

• Achievement icon

• Achievement name

• Achievement points

• Criteria progress

• Short description

• Untrack button

Clicking an achievement opens it directly in Blizzard's Achievements window.

Remove Deleted Characters

Deleted or unused characters can be removed safely from Character Info.

The Remove Character button is available from Character Details and displays a confirmation window containing the character name and realm.

This only removes the saved Character Info snapshot. It cannot delete or modify the actual World of Warcraft character.

If the character is played again later, Character Info can create a new snapshot automatically.

Automatic and Manual Updates

Character Info refreshes information during relevant game events, including:

• Character login

• Loading screens

• Profession changes

• Great Vault updates

• Mail updates

• Money changes

• Character logout

You can also press Update Now whenever you want to refresh the current character manually.

Minimap Button

Character Info includes a movable minimap button for quick access.

• Left-click to open Character Info

• Right-click to update character information

• Drag to reposition the button

You can also use:

/ci

to open the addon window.

Lightweight Account Management

Many alt-management addons attempt to track every possible piece of information.
