Rogue Rotation Helper

Rogue Rotation Helper is a lightweight, combo-point PvE advisor for Assassination, Combat, and Subtlety Rogues in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Anniversary.

Mutilate, Sinister Strike, or Hemorrhage builds combo points, and the addon tells you when to spend them - Slice and Dice, Expose Armor, Rupture, or Eviscerate - based on what's actually about to fall off and how many combo points you have banked.

The priority changes with your specialization: Mutilate for Assassination, Sinister Strike for Combat, and Hemorrhage for Subtlety. Finishers are chosen from Slice and Dice, assigned Expose Armor, Rupture, and Eviscerate according to your current buffs, debuffs, combo points, and settings.

The addon only recommends actions. It never casts abilities, changes equipment, targets enemies, or automates player input.

Features

• Clean icon-first combat display with a large primary recommendation.
• Full ability reason, Energy, combo points, target mode, and buff/debuff timers available by hovering the primary icon.
• Slice and Dice maintenance that reads the real live buff duration and refreshes a few seconds early instead of only after it has already lapsed.
• Optional Expose Armor upkeep for Improved Expose Armor builds, and a Rupture/Eviscerate finisher preference toggle for high Armor Penetration setups.
• Stealth-aware Garrote opener before the pull.
• Slice and Dice before Blade Flurry, then full five-point Eviscerates; Rupture is skipped because it does not cleave.
• Automatic single-target and multi-target profiles, plus manual overrides (/rorh mode auto|single|aoe).
• Action-button highlighting for Blizzard bars, Bartender4, and Dominos.
• Compact cooldown icons for Blade Flurry, Adrenaline Rush, and trinkets.
• Dedicated Assassination support with Mutilate, Deadly Poison refresh protection through Shiv, and Cold Blood in the cooldown row.
• Dedicated Subtlety support with Hemorrhage, the trained Premeditation → Shadowstep → Garrote opener, and Blade Flurry support for hybrid builds.
• In-game settings under Escape -> Options -> AddOns, or /rorh.
• Built-in deterministic priority self-test.
• Privacy-safe 60-second diagnostic report for useful bug reports.

Single-target priorities

1. Use the specialization opener when available: Garrote for Assassination and Combat, or Premeditation, Shadowstep, and Garrote for Subtlety.
2. Keep Slice and Dice active, normally refreshing it at 3+ combo points.
3. Maintain Expose Armor at 5 combo points if you've enabled that assignment.
4. Spend 5 combo points on Rupture, or Eviscerate when that preference is set.
5. Build with Mutilate, Sinister Strike, or Hemorrhage for the detected spec.
6. Assassination can use Shiv to protect an expiring Deadly Poison stack.

AoE priority (2+ targets)

1. Build and establish Slice and Dice.
2. Blade Flurry once Slice and Dice is safe.
3. Eviscerate at 5 combo points - Rupture is skipped since it does not hit the Blade Flurry cleave target.
4. Use your specialization's normal builder below five combo points.

Commands and testing

• /rorh — open settings.
• /rorh sim check — run the deterministic priority checks.
• /rorh mode auto|single|aoe — select target-count behavior.
• /rorh record — record up to 60 seconds of anonymous decision data.
• /rorh report — open the selected, copyable diagnostic report.

Scope

Riposte remains out of scope because it can only be used after a parry. Weapon poison application and encounter-specific cooldown timing stay under player control.

These rotations were checked against current TBC Rogue guides and validated with an expanded deterministic self-check suite, since the author does not currently have a max-level Rogue. Player feedback from mid-level and level-70 content will drive the next updates.
