RoachIQ — Your in-game field guide for WoW Classic

Quest guides, player discussions, private notes, and your own loot journal—all inside the game. Built with Classic Hardcore players in mind, RoachIQ keeps useful information close while you explore Azeroth.

Features

• Quest and NPC guides: Browse thousands of entries with practical directions, enemy mechanics, and short player anecdotes. Open your quest log, search the library, or look up your current target.
• Quest waypoints and clickable coordinates: Tracked quests automatically display their guide coordinates on your map and minimap, with a distinct color for each quest and directional arrows for distant locations. Click a coordinate or map marker to highlight your chosen destination while keeping the other tracked quest locations visible.
• Player discussions: Post tips, ask questions, reply, and contribute corrections. Optional sharing exchanges public comments with other RoachIQ players and lets you catch up through connected peers. Sharing is off by default.
• Private notes and saved drafts: Keep personal notes for each quest or NPC, bookmark useful topics, and return to unfinished comments. Private notes and drafts stay local.
• Personal loot journal: Track collected items, quantities, sources, and receipt history with native item icons and tooltips. Loot percentages reflect your own recorded samples. View quest reward previews as you discover them in-game.
• Adjustable reading interface: Resize and reposition Field Notes, change the text size, and choose a translucent or opaque background. Your preferred layout is saved automatically.

Installation

1. Download the package for your WoW Classic client from CurseForge.
2. Extract the RoachIQ_QuestHelperClassic folder into that client’s Interface/AddOns directory. When updating manually, replace the old addon folder and keep your SavedVariables.
3. Enable RoachIQ in the AddOns menu. Click its minimap icon or type /riq to get started.

Click the RoachIQ title in the upper-left corner to return to the start screen.
