What's new
- A white line across the track now marks where the running global cooldown
ends. The dark global cooldown band already ended there, but an edge between
two shades is something you read rather than something you see, and the point
of the ring is to be glanceable. Now the instant your hands come free has a
mark of its own to plan against. - It fills the groove exactly rather than protruding from it, so it stays a
mark on the track rather than becoming a fourth thing orbiting around it.
White because it sits with the dark band either side of it, where brightness
alone is enough to separate it and a fifth hue would not have earned itself. - A global cooldown that outruns the swing used to leave the band clamped at
impact, which said only "not this swing" and nothing about where in the next
one. The line wraps onto the ring instead, since the ring is a lap, and draws
at half brightness to say the place is right but the lap is the next one. - Off by default: it answers a question you ask while planning rather than one
you ask mid-swing, and the ring's contrast belongs to the swing you are in./rth gcdready onor the "Next global cooldown line" checkbox turns it on,
independently of the band itself.
