ReputationAdvisor

ReputationAdvisor is a lightweight addon for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic that helps you decide whether reputation turn-in items are worth keeping.

Instead of providing a full reputation UI, quest tracker, or auction tool, ReputationAdvisor stays out of your way and enhances item tooltips with reputation-aware recommendations based on your character's current faction standings.

Philosophy

ReputationAdvisor is designed to answer a simple question:

"Should I keep this reputation item?"

No additional windows. No complicated interfaces. Just useful information where you already look: the item tooltip.

Features

• Adds reputation-aware recommendations directly to known reputation item tooltips
• Checks your current standing with relevant factions
• Evaluates whether a reputation item is still useful or safe to sell
• Supports multi-faction reputation items such as Marks and Obsidian Warbeads
• Works with bag items and linked item tooltips
• Uses a curated static local database
• No external dependencies, servers, or online lookups required

Recommendation Labels

KEEP Used for a reputation faction where your character is still below the useful standing.

MAYBE KEEP Used for reputation, but your current standing could not be determined safely.

SAFE TO SELL Your character is already past the useful standing for the known reputation turn-in.

UNKNOWN The item is not in the curated reputation database, or no reputation recommendation is available.

Beta Notes

ReputationAdvisor is currently in beta. Please report missing reputation items, incorrect standing cutoffs, faction-specific issues, or tooltip problems.
