ReagentAdvisor

ReagentAdvisor is a lightweight addon for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic that helps you decide whether crafting materials are worth keeping.

Instead of providing a full profession UI, shopping lists, or auction tools, ReagentAdvisor stays out of your way and enhances item tooltips with profession-aware recommendations based on your character's professions and skill levels.

Philosophy

ReagentAdvisor is designed to answer a simple question:

"Should I keep this crafting material?"

No additional windows. No complicated interfaces. Just useful information where you already look: the item tooltip.

Features

• Adds keep/sell recommendations directly to crafting reagent tooltips
• Detects your professions and current skill levels
• Evaluates whether a reagent is useful now, useful soon, or likely no longer needed
• Works with bag items and linked item tooltips
• Uses a static local database generated from wow.tools
• No external dependencies, servers, or online lookups required

Recommendation Labels

KEEP Used by one of your professions and relevant for your current skill range.

KEEP SOON Used by one of your professions and will become useful within the next skill levels.

LOW VALUE Used by one of your professions, but mainly for recipes that are already outdated for your current skill.

PROBABLY SELL Only used by professions that your character does not have.

UNKNOWN Profession information could not be determined safely.
