Recruit Plus

Recruit Plus writes your guild recruitment, LFM group and profession LFW ads for you, shows exactly how they'll look in chat, and reminds you when it's time to post again. One window, three ads, every post sent with a single click.

Guild recruitment

• Pick the classes and specs you need from spec icons, or just roles (tanks, healers, DPS).
• Progression picker: "14/14 BT/Hyjal", with bosses killed per raid.
• Raid nights: days, start time and time zone, with several raids per night — "Raids BT/Hyjal Tue/Wed 7pm ST."
• Requirements written as real sentences: "Know the fights and bring consumes. Gear and logs will be checked."
• Loot system, Discord link and optional raid-marker icons to catch the eye.

Works in Classic Era, TBC Anniversary and WoW Forever

One download for all three. Recruit Plus detects your game and uses its own raids, dungeons and rules: Classic raids up to Naxxramas in Era, Karazhan to Sunwell plus heroics in TBC, and WoW Forever's own dungeons.

Groups (LFM)

• Raid, Heroic or Dungeon, picked from this game's full raid and dungeon lists.
• Counts you and your current group, so it never asks for more people than there are open spots ("LF4M" when you're solo in a 5-man).
• Reads your role from your talents, with still-need counts for tanks, healers and DPS.
• Loot rules (MS > OS, Soft Reserve, Loot Council) and Hard Reserves — shift-click items straight in.

Professions (LFW)

• Lists only the recipes this character actually knows, read when you open your profession window.
• Clickable recipe links, materials wording and "Tips welcome."
• "Enchanter LFW!", "Tailor LFW!" — ads name the crafter.

Never over 255 characters

Every ad has a live preview and a length bar. When an ad gets long, Recruit Plus shortens the wording step by step (Black Temple → BT, Soft Reserve → SR, full sentences → short tags) and tells you exactly what it left out. Nothing is ever cut off mid-word. Test whispers the ad to yourself so you can see it in real chat first.

At a glance

• Your ads list shows each ad's light (on, held, off), channels, interval and when it posts next.
• Minimap button: left-click pauses or resumes everything; Shift/Ctrl/Alt-click turns guild, profession or group ads on and off; hover for a full summary of every ad.
• Optional city prompt: when you reach a city with Trade chat, it can offer to start your guild or profession ad.
• Optional whisper alert: a screen glow and/or sound when someone replies, for when you're alt-tabbed.

Plays by the rules

The game only lets addons post in public channels when you click or press a key — so Recruit Plus never posts by itself. When an ad is due, a small Send button appears; one click (or your key binding) posts it. Built-in limits keep you from flooding chat: at least 30 seconds between posts, at most 20 posts per 10 minutes, and automatic pauses in combat, in instances and while AFK. Pause All always wins.

Getting started

1. Type /rplus or click the minimap button.
2. Choose an ad on the left, fill in its tabs, and pick channels and how often under Channels & message.
3. Tick Start Advertising. When the Send button appears, click it.

Commands: /rplus, /rplus send, /rplus skip, /rplus pause, /rplus resume, /rplus status. Key bindings: Key Bindings › AddOns › Recruit Plus.
