it reads your spellbook for the best learned rank of each spell, then checks every action bar slot (all bars and pages, stance bars included).

Description
What it does
You level up, train a shiny new Frostbolt Rank 7... and weeks later you realise Rank 3 is still sitting on your bar. RankCheck fixes that.
It scans your spellbook, compares it with every action bar slot, and pops up a window listing each spell whose bar version is a lower rank than the best rank you have learned, e.g.:
Frostbolt Rank 3 -> Rank 7 (slot 1, 13)
Arcane Missiles Rank 5 -> Rank 8 (slot 4)
Perfect for mages, but it works for every class.
Features
- Automatic popup on login, after you level up, and after you learn new spells (only shows when something changed, so no nagging)
- Shows the spell icon, current rank, best rank, and the action bar slot(s)
- "Upgrade all" button: swaps every outdated spell for its highest rank in one click (out of combat)
- Checks all bars and pages, including stance/form bars
- Ignore list for ranks you use on purpose (e.g. low-rank Frostbolt to save mana)
- Movable window, ESC closes it
- Lightweight: no libraries, no background polling
Commands
/rankcheck - scan now and show the popup
/rankcheck auto on|off - toggle the automatic popup
/rankcheck ignore <spell name> - never warn about this spell
/rankcheck unignore <spell name>
/rankcheck list - show ignored spells
(alias: /rcheck)
Notes
- Macros are not scanned (only spells placed directly on the bars).
