RangeCheck-1.6.0.zip
What's new
Changelog
1.6.0
- The range arc is now a range indicator with four styles to choose from:
- Arc: curved bar under your character
- Gauge: vertical bar with yard marks
- Ring: reticle ring that closes as you approach
- Nameplate: chevrons under your target's nameplate (uses your saved spot when nameplates are off)
- Pick a style in Options > AddOns > RangeCheck > Range Indicator, or with
/rangecheck arc, gauge, ringornameplate - Notches, labels, colours, size and position work the same in every style
1.5.0
- Now works with Bartender4, Dominos and ElvUI action bars, as well as the default bars
- The range arc's colours and automatic notches now use the spells on whichever bars you use
- Out-of-range markers no longer flicker when your bar addon recolours its buttons, and each button's own colour is restored exactly when it comes back into range

- Fixed a Lua error in dungeons ("cannot be indexed with secret keys") caused by the game hiding target IDs inside instances
- The range arc now falls back to your action bar spells if the distance library ever fails, instead of showing errors

- Option to hide the automatic notches from your action bars
- Notch labels shown on the arc (can be turned off)
- Distance reading moved inside the arc

- Range arc is much more precise: distance now shown in bands of a few yards (e.g. 25-28 yd) instead of large steps
- Arc fill moves smoothly with the distance to your target
- Arc now works even with no ranged spells on your bars
- Uses LibRangeCheck-3.0 (bundled) for distance estimates
