What's new

RaidPilot 1.1.1

Melee and Ranged

  • Melee and Ranged Counts: The roster tells you how many of your damage dealers fight in melee and how many at range, for bosses that split the raid that way. Shown by role, melee and ranged each get a column of their own.
  • Specs Looked Up: Hunters, druids, shamans and demon hunters can be either, so their spec decides. RaidPilot uses what it already knows, or quietly inspects them out of combat while the board is open.
  • Who Is Where: Hover the count to see who is on each side, and who is still being checked.
  • Split the Raid: Click the count to put melee and tanks in the first groups and ranged and healers after them, or to tell the raid who goes where. A button brings everyone back to where they stood.
  • Applicants: Damage dealers who apply show as melee or ranged, and an applicant who would even out a lopsided raid says so.
  • Player Cards: A player's card and tooltip say "Damage, melee" or "Damage, ranged".

RaidPilot now plans for the raids WoW Forever really has. On 9 December Forever opens The Barrow Deeps (10 players), Hyjal Summit (20) and Onyxia's Lair (40), and Molten Core stays closed. Everything below this line is for Forever only.

Forever's Raids

  • Ten, Twenty or Forty: Raid sizes are 10, 20 and 40. When RaidPilot knows the raid, it uses that raid's own size, and ten players want two tanks and three healers.
  • Open Raids: The raid list puts Forever's open raids first and the rest under Other Raids. Your lockouts count whatever difficulty the group is set to.
  • Group Finder: Open Group Finder looks for Forever's own board, and listings count in its raid category. /rp check tells you which board it found.
  • The Raid Brings: Follows Forever's class changes: Divine Spirit and Trueshot Aura count, and so do Kings for the Alliance and totems for the Horde. A raid is never short of the other faction's buff.
  • World Buffs and Fire Resistance Off: Forever is taking world buffs out of raids, and Molten Core is closed, so both start switched off. Turn them back on in the Forever settings. Attunements cover Onyxia's Lair only, while that is the raid.

One Side Panel

  • No More Raid Tab: On Form and Ready the side panel is Forever's own. Logs, Heroic and parses no longer show anywhere. A Reserves tab sits next to it while reserves are on.
  • Ready: Who you are waiting on, what to have ready for the next boss, missing consumables and raid buffs, who needs repairs, and boss mods, the most pressing first.
  • Summons: Everyone in another zone counts, inside the instance or not. Each one shows whether their summon is on its way, accepted or declined.

Loot

  • Loot Method: Form shows the loot method and who is master looter, with one click to make it master loot to you. A guild raid on group loot gets a warning.
  • Roll Tracker: Reads everyone's /roll: main spec is /roll, off spec /roll 99, and on a reserved item only its reservers count. Name the winner in raid chat, settle a tie with a reroll, and hand the item over with master loot where the game allows. The roll opens from the reserve alert, or by itself for the master looter's epics.
  • Import Reserves: Paste a softres.it CSV, or a line per raider with a name and items. A line that starts with hr is a hard reserve that nobody rolls on.
  • Reserves on Tooltips: Hover any item to see who reserved it.

Running the Raid

  • Looking for More: Form builds an LFM post from your open spots and posts it in a chat channel you pick. Whoever whispers you "inv" is listed with an Invite button, and gets the role they asked for when they join.
  • Healing and Utility: A second tab in Class Assignments covers healers to tanks or groups, soulstones, Innervate, Fear Ward, the battle res order and interrupt turns. Plan it for all bosses or one at a time; targeting a boss brings up its plan.
  • Raid Marks: One click marks the tanks in main tank order. /rp mark puts skull, cross, square and moon on your target, in that order.
  • Before the Boss: Ready tells you what to have ready for the next boss. Onyxia is filled in, and the new raids follow once their bosses are known.
  • Durability: Raiders who run RaidPilot share how worn their gear is, so Ready can name who needs repairs.
  • More Consumables: Juju Power, Juju Might, Winterfall Firewater, Elixir of Brute Force, Greater Intellect, Elixir of the Sages and Spirit of Zanza now count.

The Example Raid

  • Hyjal Summit: The example is now a 20 player Hyjal Summit night of your own faction, with Classic sized numbers. Its bosses have no names yet, so they are Boss 1 to Boss 13.

Summons, world buffs, fire resistance, attunements, reserves, class assignments, loot and rolls, and looking for more each have their own switch in the Forever settings.

Bug Fixes

  • Side Panel:
    • Hovering a world buff or a reserved item no longer throws an error when that spot showed a player a moment before.
  • Soft Reserves:
    • Two copies of the same reserved item dropping now each bring up the alert.
  • Wrap:
    • A night that left a boss standing no longer says "Cleared in". It says how many bosses fell in how long.
