The boss room zooms where you are pointing The scroll wheel now zooms towards the cursor: the spot under your pointer stays under your pointer, so you close in on the part of the room you are looking at instead of always into the middle. The map is deliberately not free-dragging - the view is the zoom plus the point it is aimed at, and nothing else.

...and the raid sees the same view That aim point travels with the assignments exactly as the zoom and the room image do. Without it everyone would zoom to the same level on a different corner of the room, which is worse than not zooming at all. Dropping or dragging a token while zoomed in lands it where you put it.
