Description
RaidLead
A focused raid-management toolkit for TBC Classic, built for raid leaders who want a fast in-game cockpit for consumable checks, raid assignments, boss tactics, polls, and loot tracking — without juggling external spreadsheets mid-pull.
Features
Buff scanner
- One-click scan of your group/raid for flasks, elixirs, food, and class raid auras
- Class-by-class grid of who's missing what, with a Missing summary sub-view
- Configurable columns via the gear button: pick exactly which raid buffs to track, and toggle a weapon-oil / sharpening-stone column (self-reported between RaidLead users)
- Addon-presence dot by each name — green = running RaidLead (current), yellow = older version, none = no addon
- Announce missing consumables / raid buffs / everything to chat in one click, or quietly whisper each player what they're missing before the pull
Marks tab — tanks, CC & interrupts per raid icon
- Assign a Tank, CC, and Interrupt per raid icon (Skull, Cross, …)
- Sticky memory: assignments are remembered per mob, so a detected mob auto-fills its usual assignees
- One-click marking — Auto-Mark visible hostiles, "Mark Next" to walk icons onto your target, or Quick-Mark everything in range
- Announce to chat or whisper each player their job, and a Clear menu (assignments, the actual raid markers, or both)
Boss tab — every TBC raid boss
- Full boss roster for Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon's Lair, Serpentshrine Cavern, and Tempest Keep
- Per-encounter assignment widgets for the fights that need them (Netherspite portals, Maulgar council, Magtheridon cubes, Karathress targeting, Vashj roles & cores, Al'ar platforms, Solarian, Kael'thas weapons, Void Reaver tanks/orbs, and more) — simpler fights get a clean role-assignment page automatically
- Read-only mechanics button on every boss: a scrollable, formatted breakdown of phases, key abilities, and practical raid-leader tactics — checked against authoritative TBC guides (supports multiple tactics per boss)
- One-click Auto-Mark for council/channeler fights — scans nameplates and applies raid icons to the right mobs instantly
- Assignments save per profile and sync to other RaidLead users automatically
Assign tab — heals, cooldowns, Misdirect & roster
- Healer assignments: heal-to-tank grid with cross-heal, Earth Shield, and an Auto-Assign helper
- Raid cooldowns: assign caster (and target where relevant) for major cooldowns
- Misdirect: hunter → target assignments
- Roster: every raid member grouped by declared role, with addon version at a glance
Quick Polls
- Fire a question at the raid — RaidLead users get a vote popup
- Chat voting: players without the addon can vote too, by typing the number/option in chat or whispering you privately
- Built-in presets plus your own custom questions, each single-select or multi-select
- Live tally with a per-voter breakdown (who voted for what, with chat/whisper tags), and result bars
- You control the poll — leave it open, End it when ready, Restart for another round, or set it to auto-close
- Announce the result to chat, and a clickable poll history kept privately on your client — reopen any past poll to see its bars and full voter list, or re-announce it
Loot & attendance history
- Logs every epic+ drop with timestamp, recipient, instance, and boss
- Per-run, per-player, and attendance views (who showed up, how often)
- Filterable by player or instance; persists across
/reloadand logout - Mock/test data is non-destructive, and a
/raidlead restorehistorycommand recovers a wiped history
Compact view
- Collapse the panel into a small, draggable mini-cockpit that overlays your screen during pulls
- Choose which sections to show — boss assignments, marks, healers, cooldowns, Misdirect
- Colour-coded section headers with icons, and your own assignment highlighted in gold so you find your job at a glance
- Adjustable transparency and border
Role check
- Broadcast a role-check request; members get a one-click Tank / Heal / Melee / Ranged popup
- Aggregated result back in your panel
Leader-aware & read-only by default
- Only the raid leader and assistants can modify assignments, marks, and polls
- Everyone else sees a clear "View only" indicator — so tanks/healers can run the addon to follow live assignments locally without changing anything
- Personal settings (your declared role, display options) stay editable for everyone
Peer-version detection
- A lightweight addon-message handshake announces RaidLead's presence to other users and warns you if a newer version is running in your raid
Slash commands
Note: use
/raidleador the short alias/rlead— not/rl, which is WoW's built-in alias for/reload.
/raidlead(or/rlead) — Toggle the main panel/raidlead scan— Re-scan group buffs/raidlead announce [buffs|raidbuffs|all]— Print a buff report to chat/raidlead sync— Request boss-template sync from the raid/raidlead restorehistory— Restore raid history from the last auto-backup/raidlead settings— Open settings/raidlead help— List all commands
Installation
- Install via the CurseForge app, or extract the zip into
World of Warcraft<your-client>\Interface\AddOns\RaidLead /reload(or restart the client)- Type
/raidleadto open the panel
The raid leader benefits most, but tanks and healers can install too so they see live assignments locally (and so the weapon-oil column and addon dot work for them).
Compatibility
- TBC Classic / Anniversary (Interface 20505) — primary target
- No required dependencies

Notes
- All data lives in
RaidLeadDB(per-account SavedVariables) — no cloud, no external service - Sync between members uses WoW's addon-message channel; only other RaidLead users see the traffic, nothing leaks into player chat
