v1.9.3
What's new
Raidify Addon Changelog
[1.9.3] - 2026-09-29
World of Warcraft: Forever
- Fixed a Blizzard UI error blamed on Raidify ("attempt to compare a secret number value (execution tainted by 'Raidify')"), which could appear when the character panel opened, for example while applying an enchant or buying from a vendor. Raidify's confirmation windows (Clear everything, Take over loot) are now its own instead of borrowing Blizzard's popup system.
[1.9.2] - 2026-09-28
World of Warcraft: Forever
- Attendance starts when the raid does. If nobody clicks "Start the night", the night now starts when the raid is first seen, not when the roster was pasted, so nobody reads as late for it.
- A raider who disconnects stops being counted as present. They read as leaving early if they don't come back.
- The night ends on the raid's real final boss, the last boss of the last instance on tonight's run, not the last boss that happened to have jobs or notes. When that isn't known, the night stays open until you end it.
- Ending a night that never saw the raid is refused, so bench marks made while forming aren't lost. After an end, Start opens the same night again with everyone's times kept.
- Job changes reach the raid on their own. Edits made in game are sent a moment later, as the classic addon did. A raider holding an older plan gets tonight's when they join.
- Two officers editing no longer overwrite each other. Each keeps the bosses only they changed; where both changed the same boss, the newer one wins and you're told.
/rf invite <name>invites that one person. Before, any word after invite invited the whole roster./rf invite every <seconds>andpasses <n>work again.- Invites never go past the raid's size, a dungeon night stays a party, only the leader or an assistant can invite, and a double click doesn't send everyone two invites.
- Keep inviting stops once everyone who signed up is in, and says when it starts.
- Invite on whisper answers only when the whisper starts with the phrase ("inv pls"), not when it turns up in conversation.
- Loot started before the roster was pasted shares the night's id with attendance, so the Companion never records the evening twice.
[1.9.1] - 2026-09-27
World of Warcraft: Forever — loot council
- Every candidate is on the card. The list scrolls and says how many there are; before, it stopped at twelve.
- Each candidate's class is written next to their name, and a row says when someone can't use the item, isn't in the raid, or listed it as offspec. Wishlist tiers are colour-coded.
- Hover an item for the game's tooltip, on the card and in the drops list.
- The guild's standing rule for an item is shown in words, and its button (Bank or Disenchant) is highlighted. The header shows your loot rules ("Officers decide").
- Disenchant and Stop tracking ask first. Awarding to someone whose list says offspec asks whether to record it as offspec.
- Look up any item, dropped or not, to see who has it on a list. Skip now also offers "take it off the list", for drops that aren't the council's to decide.
- Close the window and new drops no longer reopen it: chat names each one and the HUD counts them until you look.
- The trade helper lists everything the winner is owed, with "Put all in" and what's already in the trade.
- The loot card shows attendance and days since last item again by default. Streamer mode is off unless you turn it on.
- "Tonight" shows mainspec wins with offspec wins beside them, not added together.
/rf loot exportgives you the loot string to paste on raidify.app when you don't use the Companion.- The trade helper puts every owed item in (up to six), and stops the moment the trade window closes, so an item is never equipped or used by mistake. It reads the trade clock in any client language and tells you what it handed over.
- A master looter who isn't an assistant now shows up for the other officers. Taking over loot asks first and shows what you'd carry on from, and you're told if another officer is tracking loot at the same time.
- A loot night belongs to the character who started it. Another character on the same account can't carry it on by accident, and last night's tracking pauses instead of running on.
- Each drop is named in chat as it's queued, every award and disposition leaves a chat line, and you're told when there's nothing left to decide.
- Changing the quality threshold applies straight away. The "loot isn't being tracked" reminder now also comes on the first pull. The import announcement only goes out when there are lists to lock.
[1.9.0] - 2026-09-27
World of Warcraft: Forever — a new Raidify, built for it
On Forever, Raidify is now a new addon written from scratch for that client. It is the same download; Classic Era, TBC and Mists players get the addon they already have, unchanged.
- One window that follows the night: Tonight, Forming, Raiding and After. Each shows what that part of the evening needs.
- Paste an import at any time, no /reload. Late sign-ups and changes merge into what you already have, with a preview of what changes before you accept it. Jobs you edited in game are kept unless you choose otherwise.
- Forming: invite everyone, keep inviting on a timer, invite on whisper, and see who is out of place. Drag players between groups or use Move to group; Arrange groups applies the plan to the live raid.
- Raiding: each boss's jobs and notes. Edit jobs in game when plans change, announce them to
the raid, and send the plan to raiders who have Raidify so they see their own jobs. Raiders
without it can whisper
!rffor their jobs, or!wishlistfor their imported wishlist. - Loot council is built in. No separate Raidify Loot addon is needed on Forever: sessions, candidates from your imported wishlists and priorities, rolls (a free roll records its winner), and a trade helper that hands items over.
- After: attendance buckets, a sweep for anyone who never made it into the group, and a single End the night that closes attendance and loot together. Standby raiders count only if you invited them or marked them benched.
- A raid HUD with your jobs and notes, a Settings panel under Options › AddOns, and a button in the addon compartment.
- Upgrading keeps any earlier nights that were not uploaded yet.
- Uploading Forever nights with Raidify Companion needs Companion 0.3.0 or later.
Added
- Key bindings to open Raidify, show the dashboard and open the import page, under Key Bindings › AddOns › Raidify. Unbound by default.
[1.8.26] - 2026-09-25
Added
- Standby sign-ups. Raiders can now sign up on Raidify as Standby: they'll be online
and ready to play, but happy to sit out so someone who needs loot gets the spot. They come
through the import marked (S) in the group editor and have their own Standby tab on
the Roster page. Invite All leaves them out, since they haven't taken a seat.
Call one in with
/rf invite <name>. - Standby raiders are tracked for attendance like everyone else on the roster, so one who sat can be marked benched and one you called in is recorded as present.
Fixed
- Raiders marked "running late" were missing from the import. They weren't invited, weren't on the Roster page and weren't tracked for attendance. They now come through with everyone else. The fix is on the website, so re-import your roster to pick them up.
[1.8.11] - 2026-08-05
Changed
- The attendance report no longer calls anyone absent. It said
Absent: 4in red and listed them under "Missing players" — an accusation the addon has no way to support, since it can see who was in the raid group and never why somebody was not. It now reads "Not placed" and "Never made it in", and points at/rf sweep, which is where you say who sat. The website has always refused to guess here; the in-game report was the one place still doing it, and the one most likely to be pasted into Discord. - The report no longer prints "Excused". Attendance has no such state, so the addon was claiming something the website would never honour — two tools disagreeing about the same night is how a small disagreement becomes a long one.
Added
You can mark a bench, and only you can. A raider who signed up and never made it into the raid is no longer guessed at — the addon can see who was in the group, never why somebody was not. Waitlisted sign-ups used to be reported as benched automatically, which meant signing up and going to bed earned full attendance credit. Anyone nobody accounts for is now reported as unresolved, which counts for neither side and shows up on the web for an officer to close.
Mark it while the raid is forming. The Roster page has a Bench column: click it next to anyone you have asked to sit. Click again to take it back — officers change their minds while a raid forms, and a raider who ends up coming is recorded as present regardless of the mark.
Or at the end, when it costs nothing.
/rf endasks about everyone it could not place — three to six names on a normal night, not twenty. It is not modal, it does not steal focus, there is no "mark all", and leaving it alone is a valid answer. Close it without answering and you get one reminder at your next login./rf bench <name>,/rf unbench <name>and/rf sweepfor the same thing from chat. Names match on a prefix, and an ambiguous one asks for more letters rather than guessing.
Every mark carries who made it and when. A bench called at 19:50 was decided before anyone knew what dropped; one called at 23:51 was not. Both are honest, they are not the same evidence, and the record no longer pretends otherwise.
[1.8.25] - 2026-09-19
Changed
- Raidify is now on Wago Addons as well as CurseForge. Same addon and the same releases — install it from whichever you already use, or from whichever your addon manager reads. No change to the addon itself in this version.
[1.8.24] - 2026-09-19
Added
- Raidify runs on World of Warcraft: Forever. Install it the same way; the addon picks the right version itself. Forever is built on the modern client rather than the Classic one, so several things the addon asks the game for had moved or been renamed — roster import, group layouts, invites, assignments, officer sync, attendance and the loot addon all work there.
Changed
The interrupt tracker will not record on Forever, and now says so when you open it. Blizzard does not give addons the combat log on that version, so there is nothing for it to read — no addon can do this there. It used to open an empty window and stay empty, which looks exactly like a raid that never interrupted anything. Every other client is unaffected.
Soulstone tracking on Forever only updates out of combat. Buffs are hidden from addons while you are fighting on that version, so a soulstone placed before the pull is seen and one used mid-fight is not. Again, Forever only.
[1.8.10] - 2026-08-03
Fixed
Importing a roster no longer wipes the night before it. Finished attendance was discarded the moment a new roster came in — which is exactly when it hurts: the 20:45 main-raid import after an 18:30 alt run, or the Thursday-afternoon prep import after a Wednesday nobody had uploaded yet. Finished nights are now kept aside (the last five) with the roster they belong to, so they survive until you export them.
Someone who turns up an hour late is recorded as late. Everyone's "first seen" time was being set to the moment the session opened rather than when they actually appeared, so nobody was ever recorded late — and the timestamp on the export claimed a raider who walked in at 22:00 had been there since invites.
A disconnected raider is no longer counted as fully present. The game keeps reporting someone who dropped at 20:00 for the rest of the night, so they were credited with the whole raid. It also meant the record depended on whether you boot disconnected players to backfill: the same evening produced "left early" in one guild and "present" in another.
A raid you forgot to end no longer records everyone as leaving early. Without an explicit end, "left early" was measured against the moment you next opened the addon — usually the next morning — so the entire raid looked like it had bailed. It now uses the last time the addon actually saw anybody.
A finished session stops collecting. Taking four guildies into a heroic after the raid used to overwrite who was in the raid at the end, and a guild raiding two nights off one roster had the first night quietly credit everybody on the second.
The addon reports its real version. It had been showing 1.2.1 since well before 1.8.x, on every install, no matter which release you had.
[1.8.9] - 2026-08-01
Changed
Loot council features moved to a separate addon, "Raidify Loot". They were part of the main addon in 1.8.6-1.8.8; they are now optional and install alongside it. Nothing else changes: same addon folder, same settings, same roster and assignment data, so this is an ordinary update with nothing to reinstall.
The reason is blast radius. Loot is the newest and least-proven code in the project, and while it lived inside the main addon a bug in it was a bug in your raid night — even if you never used a loot feature. As its own addon it cannot do that, and it can ship fixes on its own schedule without dragging the stable parts along.
If you use
/rf loot, install Raidify Loot to keep it; the command tells you so if it is missing. Your loot quality threshold and award-announce setting carry across automatically. Everyone else has nothing to do.
[1.8.6] - 2026-07-30
Added
- Loot data from the web app now imports. 1.8.5 made the payload decode, but it was still rejected a step later - the import had no handler for it, and validation required raid details that guild-wide loot data does not have
/rf lootsummarises what was imported: how many wishlists, how many items carry officer priority, standing rules, class restrictions, and how stale the data is
Fixed
- Loot data generated while your client clock was behind the server no longer reports a negative age
[1.8.5] - 2026-07-30
First build to reach CurseForge since 1.7.7. Tags 1.8.0 through 1.8.4 were cut but never published - the release workflow rejected them for having no changelog entry - so everything below lands together for anyone updating from 1.7.7.
Added
- Loot payloads from the web app are now accepted (
RAIDIFY:v1:loot). Earlier builds rejected them outright as an unknown data type - Mists of Pandaria Classic support (Interface 50504)
Fixed
- Web imports no longer fail depending on payload size. The addon guessed which base64 alphabet an import string used and could guess wrong, decoding a valid string into garbage. It now picks by content and confirms the choice actually decompresses
- Soulstone tracking syncs correctly: broadcasts sent the wrong arguments, so other Raidify users saw stale soulstone state that never cleared and misattributed which warlock cast it
- "Enable Sync" setting works: the toggle previously saved but never applied; your saved preference now also applies at login
- Multi-group healing announcements no longer error: a load-order conflict overwrote assignment helpers with older copies
- Roster player lookup is case-insensitive, so names typed with different casing resolve to the right raider
- In-game version now matches the release (was stuck reporting 1.1.0)
- Swap Players is atomic: swapping into a full group no longer fails silently
Changed
- Sync now runs over AceComm, restoring full roster sync and soulstone status. Assignments, sync requests and notes send over both the old and new paths during the transition, so mixed-version raids keep working
- Retired the Wrath and Cataclysm .toc files (no live clients)
- Removed ~1,400 lines of dead UI code
[1.7.7] - 2026-07-25
