QuestClarity
Understand your quest log at a glance.
QuestClarity adds small labels to Blizzard's Retail quest log and explains each classification when you hover over a quest. See whether available metadata identifies a quest as current expansion, older content, weekly, campaign, important, or a normal side quest. When information is missing, QuestClarity says so.
Choose your display style with a simple command:
- Clean: gently de-emphasize old and normal side quests.
- Focus: emphasize current-expansion quests, campaigns, weeklies, and Blizzard-marked important quests.
- Everything: restore Blizzard's default presentation.
Start with /questclarity. Use /questclarity inspect for a selected quest's explanation, or /questclarity status for version and compatibility information.
No dependencies, quest database, or settings panel. No quests are hidden or reordered. QuestClarity does not accept, complete, abandon, or track quests for you. A Side Quest label does not guarantee that a quest lacks useful prerequisites, rewards, or unlocks.
Initial release: intended for Retail 12.1.0. Local Lua tests pass; in-game validation is pending. Labels currently appear in the default map quest log and its tooltips. Objective-tracker labels, NPC dialog labels, exact patch identification, verified unlock data, and translations are outside v1.
