PathPaint
“Have I already been down this hallway?”
PathPaint lets you manually highlight paths on your dungeon and raid maps, making it easier to remember where you’ve explored. Whether you’re farming old content or navigating a confusing layout, mark your route with a bright cyan trail.
Features
- Paint directly on your map: Hold Shift and drag with the left mouse button to highlight a path.
- Bright cyan highlights: Easily spot your marked routes against the map.
- Separate marks for each floor: Switch dungeon floors without mixing up your highlights.
- Undo: Remove your most recent stroke on the current floor.
- Clear Floor: Clear the current floor while keeping your other highlights.
- Reset all marks: Start fresh for your next farming run.
How to Use
- Open your map with M.
- Hold Shift and drag with the left mouse button over the paths you want to mark.
- Release Shift to use your normal map controls.
- Use Undo or Clear Floor at the bottom of the map when needed.
Commands
/pathpaint— Show instructions./pathpaint undo— Remove the last stroke on the current floor./pathpaint reset— Clear highlights from every floor./pathpaint status— Show the addon version, current map ID, and drawn highlight count.
You can also use /ppaint instead of /pathpaint.
Important Notes
PathPaint is a manual map highlighter. It does not automatically track your movement or mark cleared rooms.
Highlights remain until you clear them, log out, or reload your UI. Leaving an instance does not clear your marks, so use /pathpaint reset before a fresh run.
This version highlights the open map only and does not display trails on the minimap.
