# PVPTaunt: Automatic BG/Arena Messages + Cross-Faction Chat (WoW Classic Addon)

PVPTaunt adds personality to your **WoW Classic Battlegrounds/Arenas** by automatically sending messages at key moments. It also includes a **cross-faction “translation” system** that helps the opposing team understand what you’re saying.

## Key Features

### ✅ Automatic Victory Taunts
When you **defeat an enemy player in a Battleground**, PVPTaunt automatically sends a message from your selected list.

### 💀 Dramatic “Last Words”
When your health drops to **15%** in a Battleground, PVPTaunt can automatically send a final message—so you go out with style.

### 🗣️ Cross-Faction Translation (Enemy Can Read It)
PVPTaunt includes a built-in system that attempts to make your automated messages **readable to the opposite faction**.

- Uses a **richer character set** and **clearer word spacing** than similar addons (like Hermes)
- Results in “translated” messages that look more distinct and are easier to read (see comparison images)

**Expanded translation letter sets compared to Hermes :**
New letters found for these languages

- **Orcish:** +7 letters  
- **Common:** +2 letters  
- **Tauren:** +4 letters  
- **Undead:** +3 letters  
- **Troll:** +3 letters  

I spent way too long finding those extra letters :/ , shoutout to the original hermes creator from 2005, suprised no one else attempted to find more characters in 20 years.

## Customization

- Toggle **Victory Taunts** and **Last Words** independently
- Choose **Positive (sportsmanlike)** or **Negative (taunting)** preset lists  
  - Or edit the lists completely in the GUI
- Set message channel (**Say**, **Yell**, etc.)
- Configure cooldowns
- Optional: auto-screenshot on **Victory** or **Last Words**

## Battleground-Only (On Purpose)
Automatic triggers (Victory / Last Words) only run **inside Battleground instances**.  
This keeps behavior consistent and avoids potential UI/security issues that can happen in the open world.
