PvP Announcer is a lightweight PvP addon that announces your Killing Blows, tracks your Kill Streaks, displays real-time PvP statistics, and provides a customizable on-screen tracker.

Designed to be immersive and performance-friendly, it brings the classic arena-shooter announcer experience to World of Warcraft without cluttering your interface.

The addon was developed and tested for Ascension: Conquest of Azeroth.
but it will probably work on any WoTLK Server.

⚙️ In-Game Configuration

Open the configuration menu with:

/pa or Press ESC -> PvP Announcer

The addon includes separate configuration pages for:

• General settings
• Sounds and announcement messages
• Visual settings
• PvP tracker
• Statistics
• Commands
• Bonus client settings
• Language selection

You can:

• Enable or disable the addon
• Enable or disable all sounds
• Enable or disable First Blood
• Enable or disable death announcements
• Enable or disable the death sound
• Enable or disable animations and screen shake
• Show the victim’s name
• restrict tracking to Battlegrounds and Arenas
• Show a match summary when leaving a Battleground
• Change announcement size, scale, opacity and duration
• Resize and reposition the tracker
• Enable or disable the progress bar and medal
• Edit announcement messages
• Reset positions and statistics
• Test individual announcements or the complete sequence

🎁 Bonus Features

The Bonus tab contains optional quality-of-life settings that are independent from the PvP system:

• Set nameplate distance to the maximum supported value
• Disable Smooth Stacking
• Hide the ErrorHandler minimap icon
• Display tooltips next to the mouse cursor
• Automatically compare items with currently equipped equipment
• Hide red interface error messages
• Reload the interface directly from the addon menu

These settings can be enabled or disabled individually.

🌎 Supported Languages

The language can be changed directly inside the addon menu and updates instantly without requiring a reload.

All audio files must be converted to WAV PCM 16-bit, mono, 44.1 kHz, and named exactly the same as the audio file they are replacing.

🚀 Performance

PvP Announcer was designed to use minimal CPU and memory.
It only processes the events required for Killing Blow detection, statistics and interface updates, making it suitable for:

• Battlegrounds
• Arenas
• World PvP
• Duels
