BestGear is a World of Warcraft addon designed to help you evaluate, compare, and optimize your equipment without turning gear selection into a spreadsheet.

Instead of simply showing item level, BestGear analyzes items using configurable stat weights and profiles, giving you a clear indication of whether an item is an upgrade or downgrade for your current setup.

BestGear is not intended to blindly tell you what to equip.

Its goal is to give you the information needed to make better decisions based on your class, specialization, build and preferred playstyle.

You can use predefined or imported profiles, or create your own stat-weight configuration directly inside the addon.

/bestgear or /bgear

📊 Custom Profiles

The profile editor allows you to:

• Select a base specialization
• Edit individual stat weights
• Copy your currently active profile
• Save custom profiles
• Activate profiles instantly
• Import Pawn profiles

This makes BestGear useful both for players who just want a quick upgrade indicator and for advanced players who want full control over how equipment is evaluated.

The language can be changed directly from the addon menu without reloading the game.
