- Battlegrounds: join one with Proto on, no more Proto Core error
1.2.0 (2026-10-07)
- Proto Home: one Proto window. Home has a tile for each Proto addon (switch it on or off, open it); addons you don't have show greyed with their CurseForge link. Left-click the minimap button for Home, right-click for Settings, or type /proto home and /proto settings.
- Settings in one place: every Proto addon's settings in Home > Settings, grouped by topic in tabs (General, Chat and LFG, and so on) instead of one page per addon.
- Themes: Classic (the bronze look), Proto Drake, Proto Purple, Proto Green, Proto Blue and Proto Red (Settings > Proto Core > Look, or /proto theme).
- New version notice is a pop-up: Copy Link, and Don't show again for that version.
- Proto users on tooltips: a player running Proto shows "Proto user" and their version on their tooltip.
- Pings say which server the other player is on.
- Battlegrounds: no more error from Proto Core when the game hides who players are.
- Esc > Options > AddOns no longer shows an error when it opens before your settings have loaded.
- Ready for Proto Tongues (talk to the other faction): its Send button and its chat filter for /say.
- Older Proto addons keep working: Proto Threat 0.0.1 and Proto Tools 0.0.2 load their settings as before, and Proto LFG + Chat 1.8.8 and ServiceShop 3.3.6 get a Home tile that opens them.
- Tidy (no change you'd see): shared helpers for tick boxes, tooltips and lists; every Proto addon's settings rows, Home tiles and switches come from their own files.
