ProspectMate

ProspectMate is a World of Warcraft addon that tracks profession material conversions such as ore prospecting, gem crushing, herb milling, fish filleting, and Engineering recycling. It provides an easy-to-use interface to help you keep track of your material conversions and calculate profitability.

Installation

1. Download the latest release of ProspectMate from the Releases page.
2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
3. Copy the ProspectMate folder into your WoW AddOns folder (usually located at World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns).
4. Launch World of Warcraft and ensure that ProspectMate is enabled in the AddOns menu.

Usage

1. Open the ProspectMate window by typing /prospectmate in the chat.
2. The window will display a table with tracked conversion results.
3. Use the profession drop-down to filter displayed professions. By default, ProspectMate selects the current character's professions when they know relevant tracked recipes.
4. Enable "Show old recipes" if you want to include legacy expansion data such as Dragonflight ore, herb, gem, or cloth conversions.
5. The total return and profitability will be calculated based on the displayed results.
6. Note: ProspectMate does not account for any profession attributes. It tracks your specific outcomes as they are.
7. If your profession attributes change (e.g., skill level, inspiration, resourcefulness), click the "Reset Data" button to start from scratch and obtain relevant data again.
8. Requires the Auctionator addon for pricing and profit data. Make sure to have Auctionator installed and enabled for accurate calculations.
