The mod is designed to work with a raid or party. Similar to other raid mods, it works best when everyone in your raid is using it. Those not interested in the data the mod provides can simply /rc hide to hide the main data window, but the ready check button will always appear.
If someone in the raid does not have the mod, the death, offline and far away detection will still work, but all other features are disabled for that particular player at this time.
What do the colors mean?
Red Player is not ready
Orange Player is dead, offline or too far away
Blue Players mana is below 50%
Green Player is ready to go
What commands are there?
/rc show Shows the data window
/rc hide Hides the data window
/rc reset Resets the window to the center of the screen
/rc version Perform a version check
Does it check for classes or will it always show a buff missing if a class is not available?
It checks to see what classes are in your raid or party. For example, if a priest joins your raid, it will show that everyone needs Fortitude. If the priest has the mod, and is able to cast Divine Spirit, he will report that as well so you will see yourself needing Spirit. It also counts how many Paladins are in the raid or group and expect a blessing for each paladin up to a total of 3.
Whats to stop someone from leaving the Im Ready checked and walking away?
That is up to the leader/guild to decide how to handle such situations. Obviously the mod cant detect body heat in front of the keyboard so that is a limitation. It is up to the leader or guild to let everyone know they should keep it checked when they are ready at the keyboard and to uncheck it if they must step away.
There are some safety nets built in however. If the /afk flag goes off, the player will go Red. The mod also monitors the chat channels for keywords. If anyone says afk or brb in party, raid, or a whisper it will automatically uncheck their ready box.
Why should my guild use this mod?
It will help speed up the process of the tedious job of making sure everyone is ready and buffed, good on mana, not afk or disconnected ect. No more standing around trying to see if everyone is zoned in and it is safe to buff up, no more time wasted trying to figure out if everyone is good on mana after each pull. It the end it will speed you up quite a bit. If you are a buffer it makes it really easy to see who is missing a buff to help you easily stay on top of it.
