Description
Due Credit: Character Map 0.5 by waywocket@gmail.com -- LessThanThree is based heavily on CharMap.
Description:
This makes a pop-up window for adding a variety of characters which aren't found in English keyboards, so you can enter them in chat windows (and a few EditBoxes).
Usage:
Type "/lt3" to turn the window off and on. Left-click on a character to insert it in chat, or right-click to add an uppercase version.
Type "/lt3 minimap" to toggle off and on the minimap button.
The button "<3 Ad" pastes in a message about this add-on and where to find it, for those inevitable "ZOMG HOW DID U DO THAT??" tells.
Note: The ad button is not for spamming! It's just so that you don't have to type out the answer to "hey, how'd you do that?" all the time. The ad button will be going away in a future version of LessThanThree.
Name:
The name, of course, is a reference to the fact that you can now use a heart symbol instead of the "<3" characters. But it does a few more things than that.
To Do:
There are other neat characters which can be added. Program state needs to be saved better. The minimap button should be movable, and it's not. An icon would be better than just using a text button. The code needs a lower-level overhaul to make it cleaner and more sleek. The UI could use a little work. The input panel needs an "X" in the upper left hand corner. If possible, the old "open this when the chat window opens" functionality can be added back in. Better controls over strings and localization are needed. Everything is hardwired; that's not so good.
