This is a Mage Class Leader helping mod. It allows you to set up and assign AI groups to the mages in your guild, and helps them do their job quickly and without pestering.
Here's how it works in a nutshell. You set up a class channel and have every mage go into it. (Most guilds have this done already and it's designed around it). Install MageHelper and set the channel to your class channel. Next, you have a "class leader" designate and save which mage is marking which group. You then broadcast it over the class channel(the message hidden to everyone who has the mod). Then the mod will watch those specific groups and show you anyone in those groups that does not have AI. It then has two simple buttons that allow you to either single-target int that person or brillance the entire group. Then the bar disappears, not to show up until someone loses ai again. This way you're always on top of buffs and noone ever has to ask for it again. it takes 10 seconds to set up before a raid and will take a lot of stress off of your mages.
Tested for months within my guild, I now give you this drama-reducer. Enjoy.
chat commands:
/mh on/off/tog/lock/ret/req/chan/ad/save/bc/chkmsg
on - Turns the mod on.
off - Turns the mod off.
tog - Toggles the mod between on and off.
lock - Locks or unlocks the mod
ret - Shows what groups you are currently watching.
req - Requests what groups you are watching from the host.
chan - Sets the class channel you're suppose to be in.
ad - Shows the administrative options in-game.
save - Saves what person is on what group. don't use unless you're running the addon for the night! use format: /mh save [velora 14][kara 25][gothus 36][dellia 48]. can assign any groups to any person, doesn't have to be in order =P
save off - Removes all saved information. for when multiple people are trying to run the mod or after a raid is over.
bc - Broadcasts the saved information. do this after saving to ensure everyone has their groups.
grp - Shows exactly who is assigned to what group, in case you forget.
An example of what most guilds will want to do:
the class leader will set up which mages are watching which groups
/mh save [kara 12345678][velora 74][gothus 836][dellia 5]
then
/mh bc
And you're done. With this kind of setup, the class leader can see all 8 groups and if anyone is missing mark. each mage will then watch their specified groups without worrying about the others. And you can pay attention to what mages are slacking during raids!
