ProfessionsSkillBuddy-2.0.3
What's new
Professions Skill Buddy 2.0.3
Interface polish
- Restyles the batch quantity input field to match the addon's flat dark interface instead of the default client input box; the field now highlights with the accent color while focused and scales with the font-size setting.
- Fixes the client badge (
TBC 2.5.6 · 20506) overlapping the minimize button in the window header; the badge now sits cleanly beside the window controls. - The open/close button on Blizzard profession windows now shows the Professions Skill Buddy logo instead of a generic profession icon.
New
- Adds quantity controls for normal crafting professions: use ROUTE for the current route target, enter a custom amount, or choose ALL for everything currently craftable.
- Caps the selected amount to the materials available in Blizzard's live profession window while keeping the full route goal visible.
- Starts the selected amount with one deliberate click through Blizzard's official amount field and normal crafting queue.
- Adds two-layer action-button progress for the current individual craft and the complete batch, including completed crafts and estimated time remaining.
Crafting behavior
- Route quantities use the exact number of crafts to the current visible skill boundary. Yellow or green recipes may still need a follow-up batch when a craft does not grant a skill point.
- Enchanting remains intentionally separate and is never batched: each enchant requires its own click and an explicitly selected target item.
- ALL uses Blizzard's official Create All control when available. The addon does not use timer-driven clicks or a private unattended repeat loop; Blizzard remains in control of the normal crafting queue and protected actions.
Also included since 2.0.0
This is the first upload since 2.0.0, so it also carries the 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 changes:
- 2.0.1 — Fixed the right-hand material counts and progress fills being clipped by the scrollbar in the Kit Materials view; both material columns adapt to the available scroll viewport while preserving a clear scrollbar gutter.
- 2.0.2 — Detects recipe-specific profession tools (Jeweler's Kit, Simple Grinder, Blacksmith Hammer, …) before crafting, disables the action and names the missing tool instead of silently counting, shows Blizzard crafting errors next to the action button, counts a session attempt only after the matching spellcast actually starts, and uses profession-neutral feedback when materials, tools, or a workstation are unavailable.
