Profession Era Bar
Switch profession expansions with one click.
Profession Era Bar adds a compact expansion selector beside the Professions window in World of Warcraft Retail. Choose an era to open that expansion's profession recipes. The selected era is highlighted, and the bar moves to whichever side of the window has room.
What does the add-on do?
Features
- Switch between the expansions available for your current profession without opening the usual expansion menu.
- See your skill level when hovering over an era, plus available specialization points when that era has them.
- Spot unlearned eras at a glance; their buttons are dimmed.
- Continue working in Specializations when the chosen era supports them. Eras without a specialization tree open in Recipes.
- Keep the bar out of the way on unsupported Professions tabs and while crafting at an NPC.
Launcher controls
The movable hourglass launcher gives quick access to your primary professions:
- Left click: Open your first primary profession's Recipes.
- Right click: Open your second primary profession's Recipes.
- Ctrl + left click: Lock or unlock the launcher.
- Drag while unlocked: Move the launcher.
- Shift + drag while unlocked: Resize the launcher.
The launcher's position, size, and lock state are saved between sessions.
Getting started
- Install and enable Profession Era Bar for World of Warcraft Retail.
- Click the hourglass launcher to open a primary profession.
- Click an era beside the Professions window to switch expansions.
Profession Era Bar targets the Retail client (Interface 120100).
