Turn leveling professions into a questing journey.
Pick a profession. Set a goal. Start your journey.
You know the feeling: bags full of bits and pieces, a profession you meant to level, and no clear idea what to make next.
Profession Atlas gives that next skill point a place in your quest tracker. Gather the missing supplies, craft what you need and visit your trainer when it is time to learn more. Your profession plan follows you out into the world, with numbered steps and progress that updates as you play.

A few skill points, or your next profession rank
Choose your goal on Leveling and press Start journey. Atlas brings together the materials, recipes and trainer lessons along the way. Your Profession Plan appears in the quest tracker and Map & Quest Log, beside the quests you already follow.
Click a numbered task to choose your next step. Open the book or View full plan when you want the bigger picture. Keep Atlas open beside you, or close the window and carry on with the tracker.
Gather supplies → craft your next items → learn from your trainer → keep going.
Let the journey take you into the world
Need wolf meat for Cooking? Look up a farming area, see the creatures you are hunting and use personal markers to recognise your targets. Looking for cloth? Compare the available sources and pick where you want to head next.
For gathering, switch on Ore, Herbs, or both. Atlas shows possible locations on your map and guides you with its own arrow. Watch the arrow change colour as you get closer; if the spot is empty, move on with Next location.
Prefer to buy the missing supplies? Compare available vendor and auction estimates, then follow the relevant destination. You can change a buy/farm choice, skip an unsuitable step and restore it later.
Your next craft might already be in your bags
Before buying more, check what your characters already hold. Inventory brings recorded bags and personal banks together, while material tooltips show which alt has that spare stack. Auction estimates include coin icons and the last price-scan age where available.
In Crafting, browse ingredients, see who knows a recipe and preview wearable items. When you are ready, Craft opens the recipe in your profession window. You make the item there.
Turn spare cloth into Enchanting supplies
That cloth could be the start of another little journey: craft equipment, disenchant it, then put the dust or essence towards your next skill point.
Atlas compares suitable equipment recipes you have learned through Tailoring, Blacksmithing, Leatherworking or Engineering with buying the missing enchanting materials. Craft one item, check the disenchant result and let your updated inventory guide the next step.
You can also Farm green gear: browse outdoor creature sources, exclude elites and explore possible drops by equipment slot.
Ready for your first step?
- Open your profession windows so Atlas can learn your skills and recipes.
- Open
/pa, choose a profession and goal, then press Start journey. - Open your bank and log into your alts to record their supplies. Visit the auction house when you want fresher prices.
The illustrated Tutorial shows you where to click, with linked highlights and six chapters you can jump between. Your first installation opens Atlas and the guide after the intro finishes and the normal game interface returns.
Make the window, personal markers and arrow feel at home in your UI through Settings. Existing users receive update notes; tick Don't show update popups if you prefer to read them later in Settings > Recent Change Logs.
Atlas includes its own navigation and auction scanning. TomTom and Auctionator are optional. With Auctionator active, Atlas uses its auction estimates and avoids overlapping scans.
A little context before you set off
Prices, farming yields, drop chances and disenchant returns are estimates. Map markers show possible locations, not live resource availability. Bank and alt inventories show their last recorded contents; guild and account banks are not included. Extra crafts may be needed for skill-ups, and trainer details should be checked in game.
Equipment-drop estimates use reference data and assume independent item rolls; actual Forever loot may differ. Profession coverage is still being tested and refined. Compatibility with other WoW versions has not been established.
