What's new

PP Forever — Changes since 1.0.95, through 1.0.103

Added features

  • Salvation and Revoke management for Paladins, with a dedicated button and All-in-One integration.
  • Mass Salvation selection when it requires fewer casts than individual Salvation, accounting for tank cleanup.
  • Tank warning: the Salvation button flashes red with a shield overlay when a marked tank has Salvation.
  • Divine Spirit support for Priests, including a separate button, All-in-One casting, downranking, and recognition of Prayer of Spirit.
  • Customizable timer formats: choose 00:00, 00, or 00m under Timers & Alerts → Text.
  • Diagonal All-in-One icons: Fortitude/Spirit for Priests and Mark of the Wild/Thorns for Druids. Only learned abilities appear.
  • Druid All-in-One now checks Thorns on its assigned recipient after the main group buff.
  • Salvation displays the shortest remaining Salvation duration among covered party or raid members.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Fixed Priest, Druid, and Mage Normal bars using unnecessary extra width; they now use a single-column layout.
  • Aligned Spirit beneath Fortitude and corrected auxiliary icon spacing.
  • Made addon timer formatting consistent across buff buttons.
  • Moved Classic Spirit and Thorns timers beside their icons.
  • Positioned Salvation beside All-in-One in Normal and Classic layouts.
  • Corrected Classic All-in-One and Salvation alignment, including when either button is hidden.
  • Kept scaled sample bars inside the configuration preview area.
  • Restored a clearly visible version number in the configuration window’s bottom-left corner.
  • Removed Salvation from blessing assignments and auto-assignment choices, clearing obsolete saved Salvation assignments.
  • Improved post-Mass Salvation handling so aura updates can arrive before another cast is selected.

How Salvation management works

Enable Manage Salvation and Revoke under Buff Bar → Self Buffs.

The separate Salvation button uses these controls:

  • Left-click: casts Salvation on an eligible non-tank missing it, or chooses Mass Salvation when that saves casts.
  • Right-click: casts Revoke on a marked tank who has Salvation. Repeated clicks cycle through eligible tanks.
  • Red status: a non-tank is missing Salvation.
  • Flashing red with a shield: a marked tank has Salvation and needs Revoke.

The addon recognizes Tank roles and Main Tank assignments, rather than assuming tanks based on class.

The current implementation treats Salvation as single-target and Mass Salvation as covering the target’s class. It compares individual casts against a Mass cast plus any required tank Revokes. Ties favor individual Salvation.

With management enabled, All-in-One also handles Salvation and Revoke. After a successful Mass Salvation, it prioritizes removing Salvation from affected tanks. With the separate button, use right-click for that cleanup before continuing Salvation casts.

Each spell requires a click or bound keypress. Automatic recipient selection and cleanup operate outside combat. Custom aggregate timers and tank warnings clear when combat prevents reliable buff inspection; native combat timers retain the client’s formatting.
